Significantly smaller than my other pair

My Husband bought me these for Christmas. I wear nothing but HOKA's. Can I change these out ?

I got these for Christmas. I love the look but they don't go on my feet, I hope I can return or exchange.

This shoe is all one piece. Therefore, it can not be adjusted if you have a wider foot or if you wear inserts in your shoes. I loved my CAVU 2 and am very disappointed that this show does not work for me.

I have been getting the Cavu for years. It is the only shoe I've ever found that works for me. I hiked 450 miles across Spain in Cavus. I buy the same pair, same size, every year. I have two pairs of the original Cavu, two pairs of Cavu 2, and now I bought a Cavu 3 in the same size I always get but because they got rid of the tongue and now the opening for your foot is smaller, I can't even get my foot into the show! I can't get it through the opening because of the angle of my ankle and my high arches. This is absurd! I have spent years with the wrong shoes and finally found the right ones and Hoka ruins them. I most of their other shoes before finding the cavus and none were quite right, so now I'm at a loss. I don't know where to start. I've looked for the old Cavu 2 elsewhere online, but since I'm a size 9, which is very common, they're all sold out everywhere. Truly truly stupid move by Hoka. Why mess with a good thing and disappoint your loyal customers??
