I was very excited to try this shoe but was very sad that I couldn't even get my foot in through the permanent tongue. I tried and tried but it just wouldn't budge. So I had to return the shoe. If I had known the shoe was like that, I would have never purchased it. In going through the rest of the shoe catalog, I am paying more attention to that detail and realize that most of the shoes are like this. If this was in the description, I missed it. And if it's not, then it should be.

The shoe is difficult to put on due to the socklike structure and due to the laces being incorporated into the shoe, there is no tongue. But once I did have in l liked the feel. However after one 5 mile walk the crease/bend at the toe caused blisters at the top on my foot on my big toe knuckle an pinky toe. I haven't been able to wear agin since the blisters are still healing.

Thw size was not the usual fit of a 7 I have had from Hika in the past . Also very disappointed yes in the materials of the shoe. Returned them ASAP

Bought these for my wife. Didn't realize they were slip on's. Not sure how anyone could put their foot in one of these, the opening in unbelievably small. Returned them for a pair of Clifton 7 which are awesome.

I've been buying Hoka shoes since about 2013. I've loved every single pair (5 Star) except for this pair. I was looking for Hokas to wear "every day," not necessarily for runningThe description (my opinion) and photo did not indicate that this shoe had no tongue. I couldn't even get this shoe to open wide enough on my foot, barefoot, much less with any of my socks. I emailed the company regarding this. Every pair of Hoka shoes that I have owned since 2013 (and they are many) have fit perfectly. I don't know what happened with this particular shoe.

My feet were aching after wearing these sneakers for half a day. Disappointed

I tried to print return form but it wouldn't print. Asked if they would re send it but they haven't. I cannot get foot in shoe

Fit very tight and I do not have a wide foot !

The shoe was very stiff with no give and I could only fit 1/2 of my foot into the shoe. I'm very sad it didn't work out!

I bought this pair of shoes for running but they are not comfortable at all!

The tongue is attached and I could not squeeze my foot into the shoe.

The shoe was extremely light, I felt for the money I was paying it should have had more weight to it. The fit was extremely tight. The shoe is definitely not for me. I returned it.

where not tie on shoes should be should have said slip on shoe to hard to get on and to tight once on very unhappy I have a pair of cav's for several yrs. love them

Wish the pictures and description had told me this was a slip on with no tongue. Want to return but Homs has not responded.

They don't even begin to measure up to the other Hoka's I love. Returning these for those Hoka's proven to work for me with better support and comfort.

I returned these shoes. Love , love HOKA, but I could not get my foot into the opening.

I was extremely disappointed, I can't even get the shoe on. I have several other shoes that are the same style and I've had no issue with them. I have extremely small feet I should have no issue putting that she won.

Comfy work shoes.

I do not like the fact that the tongue is sewn right to the shoe. I had trouble getting the shoe on. Need a shoe horn or you'll wreck the backs of the shoe.

I will have to return them.
