The shoe is too tight compared to previous versions

I am a longtime ASICS Resolution fan and just bought my 12th pair in a little over 6 years and I am very disappointed in this new rendition. I play lots of tennis and rely heavily on my athleticism and speed. ASICS Resolutions have always provided me with the perfect balance of nimbleness with exceptional stability. The updated 8's have lost the former and feel a bit clumsyno longer have that agile feel to them. Went back to my 7's yesterday during play to reconfirm and sure enough not the same. Not sure why the change was made.

Not very comfortable. Footbed is hard and fit is not great.

The Asics 12-1/2 wide that I purchased 6 months ago was perfect. This pair was visibly not as wide and very uncomfortable.

One of my shoes just won't break in. I've given them a good chance, but after about 30-40 minutes my feet hurt to the point I need to switch shoes. I would return them if I could, unfortunately I'm out the money I spent on them. I've had other ASICS that fit great.

Not wide. Long n narrow. Strange compared to usual ASICS

Fits good except to wide in heel. Do they really think people with wide feet have wide heels?

I really can't give a good review because I had to send the shoes back. The left show had a popping noice with every step.

The shoe was around 1" too long for my size 10 foot size

I wear a New Balance 9 2E. The ASICS Gel-Resolution 9 Wide were too tight! I was really looking forward to being able to wear ASICS!

I bought size 11, but the shoe was too narrow, so I returned it.

poorly designed, not 'adjusted' for smaller foot size. The sides of the shoe rub the ankle bones, as ASICS did not accomodate for smaller foot length. i.e. small feet will have lower ankle bones

I purchased the wide version of this shoe but discovered the sizing was more of a medium. The fit was tight and uncomfortable. The upper is constructed entirely of plastic and does not vent well causing foot temperature to rise uncomfortably. After one wearing, I have donated the shoes to a charity.

Why is there so little cushioning? I have been wearing Gel Resolutions since 2010 and these feel like there is only cardboard between the ground and my foot. After 1 week they have less cushion than an old pair of Gel Resolution 7s.

Ordered shoe online, first time wearing them, they felt good, so I threw away the box. Then after a few uses I realized the shoe was a little too narrow and was rubbing. I called customer service and they said since I don't have the box there's nothing they can do

I have been playing in ASICS top end tennis shoes for 11 years through all kind of model changes. I was eagerly anticipating the latest version of the Resolution line. I've never had problems with fitting even though the shoe runs a bit narrow I've selected a 1/2 size larger. The shoes were entirely too tight even at size 11. I thought the toe box had been squared off to be roomier. It was not. The truss system was unable to handle my wide foot.

I had the previous generation of the same shoe; best tennis shoe I've owned. The new ones have very stiff plastic-type material in front of toes, and it digs into toes when walking and hurts. And it's not just a break-in period -- I've played about 3 hours of tennis in them and they only get worse. VERY disappointing
