I've been buying this same shoe style for my son in every size as he grows. This is my first time purchasing from zappo s. These felt much more narrow and smaller than his seven and a halfs and these were an eight. He even said they weren't as comfortable. Could have just been a manufacturer glitch.

These were great for my 4yo. Held up really well, great arch support. They started to wear out towards the end with the velcro coming off the straps, and the toes getting scuffed, but with what he put them through we're very happy with them.

Hard to find wide shoes for my son. These fit, but are still pretty narrow for being EXTRA wide. Wish they were a bit wider, but he hasn’t complained and he loves them.

We bought a second pair of these for my son, and what we found odd was the black pair in the same size as the red pair fit him differently.. The 7s in the red fit well whereas the blacks were tight. We ordered up a size and he’ll grow into them. Otherwise he seems comfortable in them and loves putting them in!

I really like these and so does my 3yr old son. We originally bought the normal size 6, but New Balance apparently runs narrow for boys- so we exchanged for 7 wide and they fit great. My son has wider looking feet to me, but I have 3 little girls with narrow feet as a comparison. Go up a size and get size wide if your son has remotely wider feet or, like mine, still has a bit of a fat pad on top.

I like the look of these shoes but they definitely run narrower than other New Balance toddler shoes. We had another pair in the exact same length and width and when you held them up to one another, this pair was clearly narrower. I hope it’s just this particular style and not new sizing by NB, because they are one of the only shoe companies that make shoes that will feet my boy’s wide feet. He is normally a NB wide, but we had to get extra wide for this style and even then, the Velcro is stretched pretty much to its limit. Hopefully they will stretch a bit with some wear.

Comfortable, good support for busy toddler. Good “sometimes” shoes. Rubber started separating on toe very quickly with everyday wear.

Good shoe as far as style and comfort- not very durable. Good, true to size fit. The only problem was that the sole rubber started separating on the toe after less than 2 months.

Like another reviewer, these shoes lasted less than a month and developed holes in the same places (on the sides of the feet). Obviously, this is a design flaw since the fabric should not get holes with regular use in such an odd spot too on BOTH sides of the foot on BOTH shoes! Would not recommend. Shopping now for the replacement...ugh.

These are supposed to be EXTRA wide. I’ve bought many shoes from NB and their extra wide were the only shoes that fit my son, but this style is barely wide and definitely not extra wide. Had to return. Cute though.

We've only had these for 3 months and both shoes have holes in them where the leather and mesh meet. Not pleased.

I ordered a wide because my toddler has a high instep. These did not appear wider than the regular width (I ordered those for the other twin of the same size), however, were significantly larger in length. This makes no sense. very disappointed because now the regular width is sold out.

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

I think the pair i purchased for my toddler were lemons, and Zappos' customer service was incredibly easy to work with. I already purchased another pair in a different color.
