These fit my 3 year old son, they hold up to his rough abuse. This is actually the second pair I bought him because he grew out of the previous. The strap stays latched, which is also important.

My son has flat, wide feet. These shoes give him extra arch support and come in various widths, which is perfect for him. The sizing guide was spot on and I was able to order the right size with the first try.

Second time purchasing these Xwide sneakers for my grandson, they are a perfect fit. He tells everyone he only wears NB's! I tried many other brands in wide widths only to send them back because they were too tight. They lasted almost a year before he out grew them, held up well. Great sneaker at a very reasonable price.

After 4 different pairs of shoes we’ve finally found the ones. My sons 34 months and his feet are huge and chubby and wide. We ordered the extra wide size 10 and they are great. Not too tight and we can easily latch the Velcro. These are the only shoes we’ll be buying for him for the near future.

These were perfectly to fit my son's leg braces. We've tried lots of shoes but the Velcro closure and extra wide fit make it a perfect purchase. Not bad for 50 bucks

I bought these for my 8 year old with very wide feet. He loves them and says they're really comfortable. They're good quality and light weight. I love that they come in wide and extra wide, and the velcro is super strong too - I hate when I buy sneakers and the velcro doesn't stick. These were a great shoe at a very reasonable price.

New Balance, please never stop making these sneakers in XW! These are the ONLY shoes that have ever fit both of my boys. They are average size kids who happen to have very wide, "thick" feet with arches. Other shoe manufacturers sometimes offer XW shoes but don't understand that they also need to make the shoe "thicker" vertically to accommodate an overall larger foot with an arch. My 12 year old has been wearing New Balance sneakers since he could walk. Same for my 4 year old. He loves his red NB sneakers and wears them every day. If it weren't for New Balance XW sneakers, I don't know what my sons would wear.
