Inadequate cushioning; had to replace foam insert.

I always wear a 12 4E NB. This runs a bit small and toe box is a bit narrow for me. Too bad...was excited to get these.

The design looks good, but found the shoe to be uncomfortable. It has less cushion & support than my two year old NB. It also hurt the back of my heel so much that it was bloody after a long walk. It may get better with wear, but afraid to do so as the wound is still raw and painful.

General walking is fine, but the sides at the heel are cut too low and ride at bottom of ankle bone

OK for the price, but would not buy again. Had just bought a pair of 840"s and these were not even close. Of course, they were half the price, so I guess you get what you pay for. They look good though!

These are the most uncomfortable NB shoes I've ever owned. Next to zero cushion and definitely not waterproof. Aftermarket insoles helped quite a bit , but for the initial cost, I expected better for such a big name runner

New Balance is my favorite brand and has the most comfortable shoes. Arishi Trail GTX is the most uncomfortable shoe I purchased form New Balance. I wish I would have returned them.

Nice looking shoes .. I Love New Balance amazing running shoes .. model 1080 are amazing Only issue with Arishi Trail GTX model they seem to buckle in and not that comfortable had to return

These shoes are very cheaply made, the tongue cushion made me bleed on first use. The inside does not feel comfortable, needs better insoles. Very, very disappointed with this purchase. I wouldn't be surprised if they only last a few months before they start falling apart, definitely not made for trail running!

I've had this pair of running shoes for a little over a month and they are already falling apart. The customer service 800 number is no use since no one answers it. I need to return he shoes but can't get anyone to answer the phone OR return an email. I'll keep trying though. Maybe I can take the shoes to a New Balance store for a return? I would not buy this shoe again.

As a big fan of New Balance road shoes, I was looking forward to my first trail running shoe from New Balance. Unfortunately, the Arishi Trail is pretty disappointing. The fit and finish is poor and, as a result, the shoe simply isn't comfortable for running. The lack of padding on the collar and tongue don't help.

These felt cheaply made. I ordered the 4E and they were tight for a 4 E. I expect a little more out of new balance in both regards.

I like a sport show that looks and feel like quality. I did not get that in the delivery. The sole felt soless the over all shoe felt cheap and therefore I sent it back. I guess I expected the shoe to feel like the a quality shoe.

This shoes are the most slippery I every worn. I buy it like 2 weeks ago thinking in the rain season and have fallen 2 times because the sole of the shoes.

Toe box too small. I had to return them. I have a pair of NB golf shoes "4E" that are great but unfortunately these shoes were not the same fit.

These shoes look stylish and come in 4E width; I bought them for my husband for his birthday. Sadly, the toe box was narrow and weren't comfortable for him. I was very happy when I returned them using UPS and it didn't cost me any money.
