I was looking for a pair of shoes for my walks to the river. There was a big sale going on so I figured I'd give these a shot. I like them quite a bit. I hope they last a long time.

Use for indoor walking and exercising, bot the lateral ankles get pinched by the outer portion of the shoe

I have problem feet--lots of arthritis--and it is difficult to find shoes with enough toe box room. I am a woman, but I have to buy men's 8 1/2 4Es to get the necessary width. The last New Balance model that worked for me was the Leadville, and I was SO disappointed when that shoe was discontinued. The Fresh Foam Arishi Trail is super comfortable and there is enough "give" in the toe box to accommodate my feet, which is the most important feature for me. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that I question its trail designation. If you wear this on rough, rocky trails, it does not provide the necessary support and stability, and though the tread has a similar pattern to my old Leadvilles, it is not nearly as robust. The sole is thin and doesn't provide great traction. So, if your trail running is done on well-maintained, smooth trails, you will likely love this shoe. If you run on rough terrain, it may not be a good choice. In spite of these caveats, this will be my go-to shoe for now.

Use them for trail running and walking on rough terrain. They seem tough enough to cope with everything I have thrown at them so far and they are great value for the price. Love the great design details added to the HF welded upper and midsole to give them an outdoor vibe.

The new ones are very nice- the only thing I don't like about them is that the tongue is not sewn down inside like all my previous pairs.

Fits well, is light and flexible. Not as sturdy as I'd like for a trail runner, but good enough.

I enjoy these shoes. I walk a trail at a park and the sidewalk (as a result of the Covid era). These shoes are comfortable and work well on the trail. However, I sometimes feel discomfort as I walk the sidewalk with these shoes. However, these shoes should do you well on the trail.

I have wide flat feet znd New Balance is my go to show.

Shoe provides great comfort and support, However the sides are high around the ankle esp. the inside . Left some blisters on the inside forward of the ankles . But material getting softer so situation has improved. NB always produces a quality product and this is no exception.

The shoe is comfortable from day one. There isn't a break in period before the shoe wears comfortably. My only 'annoyance' is that every time I put the shoe on, the top of the back of shoe always rolls into the shoe and I have to take a few minutes to unroll it.

To tight. This shoe runs a little small and too tight.

Bought 11.5 wide and they were short and narrow. The sole shape was awkward and wouldn't have worked for my feet even if they fit. Returned for a small loss.

Comfortable and extremely quiet...but I've only worn them a couple weeks and there is a considerable amount of wear on the tread... not gonna last much longer

While this is not specific to this shoe. I had a pair of new balance Nitrels, I ordered a size larger in this type of shoe. It was still not wide enough. I do appreciate that I have wide feet, but I would expect the same size in a different shoe from the same company would fit close to the same.

First day wearing on concrete floor in brewery. By noon I had to put insoles in because the balls of my feet hurt so bad. When the floor is the least bit wet these soles are very slippery. Not a good shoe choice for working. I'll keep them for wearing other times.

I like the fit and supportive feeling of this shoe. I have had a couple pairs of Arishi Trails and have always liked them. My guess is that the Gore-Tex liner adds to the supportive feeling around my foot. However, as with a lot of Gore-Tex items, especially active foot wear, they do not breath very well. So they get hotter and clammier than the Arishi Trails without the liner.

I use the sneakers for agessive hiking, but they are narrower than other NB Extra Wide shoes.

Runs very small I could barely get a 13 on and I have NB 14 in all shoes for many years.

Looks nice I ordered wide sent back to see if extra wide works .
