Very disappointed in this pair of shoes. All I have worn for at least the past 8 years are Brooks. This pair comes up too far on my ankle. My feet go numb on both feet within two hours of wearing these shoes.

The Ricochet 1 was the best pair of shoes I ever owned. They hugged my heels so they didn't sleep, but there was still plenty of room in the toe box. Unfortunately, my heels slip constantly in the Ricochet 2. After a few 3 mile runs, I had to return them and try to find something else.

My old Ricochets are my all time favorite running shoes. Sadly, the Ricochet 2 is unwearable. The integrated tongue makes the shoe almost impossible to put and painful to wear. If you have high arches and insteps or wear orthotics, these shoes are not for you.

Sock liners you either love them or hate them. I appreciate how this hugs the foot but agree they're a challenge to get into. A shorn horn is a game changer! Overall, these were snug but comfortably so. The energize sole gave the right amount of spring that I'd been looking for. One star is because after less than 6 months and around 75 miles, they developed a hole on the upper.

Sent these right back. Toe box was too tight. Everything was too tight.

The mesh on these babies was so stiff and tight it took all I had to get one foot in and the other one, forget it! Seemed the length was fine but ridiculous trying to get on. Back they went.

I’m pretty sad about this shoe not working out. I haven’t had a shoe fit so perfect in a very long time. Everything felt like it was made just for my feet. I had to return these because of one tiny thing. The tongue. I didn’t realize that the tongue was made into the shoe(whatever that is called when you can’t move it around). I had to use the loop on the back of the heel and the loop in front of the tongue to put the shoes on. And socks were a headache because of it. I think if you went barefoot, it would be fine. Otherwise, socks bunch up. And the constant tugging on those loops makes me think they will wear out before the shoe itself. Too much money to chance such a thing.

I am not a runner but I have very high arches so I need a quality shoe with enough support so my feet won't hurt. I have worn ghosts and glycerins with no issues. While ghosts are my favorite, they are both very comfortable shoes and I would recommend both. I was looking for a shoe with a different style. Because the ricochets were recommended for supination, I ordered a pair. I wore them twice and both times my feet started hurting after about 20 minutes of wear. These shoes just don't have the support my feet need so I returned them.

These are terrible!! I've ordered these and the Levitate 3's and they are both a huge disappointment!! They both leave BLISTERS on the back of my ankle within just a few minutes of wearing them. Brooks needs to fix their products ASAP!!!

I have purchased quite a few pairs of Brooks shoes in the past, and loved the feel! These shoes were a huge disappointment! Always been a size 9 in Brooks, but these ran big, slipped up and down on my heels, no springy, bouncy feel like the other shoes! Just a huge disappointment!

this shoe has a very uncomfortable upper. the sock-like fit is terrible. its like having a rubber band around your ankle and since there is not a tongue the upper material just bunches up on top of your foot for further discomfort. also they r ridiculously difficult to put on and take off and i have a narrower width foot (not enough to wear a narrow but narrow) the number 2 part of the tag is even a pain; it gets caught in the laces. too bad this exact shoe with the 8mm drop (or below) isn't made with a traditional tongue upper. hence this shoe only has half the package. very disappointing since the the lower seems very comfortable. the upper makes this an impossible shoe for me to wear. logically what it the point of a sock like fit anyway you are already wearing a sock!.
