The tongue shoe is rough if you have a high arche.

I really liked these shoes and they were very comfortable. There problem is that the back rubbed on my ankle. It's not soft and the seam has stitching. I can't wear flats with the scrunched back either so maybe I have a prominent ankle bone, but these would have been perfect if they had just rounded the back like most tennis shoes.

I have owned many pairs of Brooks. I Love the look of these shoes, but they are not very comfortable for running. I have had these shoes for about 2 weeks and I have been hoping they will break in, so far that is not the case. I was hoping for more cushion.

Runs small. This is my usual size.

They were comfy except the heel rubbed too much against my skin and unfortunately are going back. I tried to wear a sock high enough to cover the area but it was still uncomfortable for me.

Didn't feel supportive for running and were a little tight. However, they looked awesome and I'm so sad they didn't work out.

Overall a great shoe to run, hike, and cross train in. The back of the shoe is a little bit stiff but I actually find it helps support my ankle when performing plyometric activities. However, I have found some quality issues already in my shoe (worn for about a month and a half now). The back loop on on of my shoes has already loosed from the top and is falling off and well as some threading issues around the laces. Love the shoe and the feel, just wish the quality was there to back up the support.

First I want to say I LOVE Brooks, but the Ricochet are just too tight, I don't like they way they wear at all.

These are cute, but I'm just not a fan of the "sock fit" style shoe. It is hard to get my feet in the shoe and they feel so tight across the top of the foot. The soles were also not comfortable. I didn't even try to leave the house in these. I put them on and then put them back in the box to return.

Runs really narrow. Not for large ankles. I ordered my normal size in all Brooks styles and these run way to small at the ankle.

The sock like feel or whatever it is, makes it difficult to put the shoe on. It also restricts blood flow. Since having the shoes, my toes go numb but that goes away after 10-20 minutes. The numbing sensation has lessened since I e broken the shoes on more. The feeling of them is extremely comfortable once all the feeling to my toes returns. Undecided if I'm going to trade them in for a more traditional shoe or not. I'm hoping that the sock feel is what's causing the restricted blood flow and it's not an issue with all of their shoes. The wear and tear could be better. I've only had the shoes for less than a month and the top front part of the shoe is already coming unglued. Since I'm not a runner and use them for the gym and bike riding, I would be highly concerned for anyone that is a serious runner since they can't hold up in a controlled gym setting. I'm going to wait a few more weeks to see if I like them more before contacting customer service. This brand of shoe was recommended to me by my ortho and I'm not overly impressed. Again, I'm hoping it's just the sock feel that's restricting the blood flow and maybe I got the "bad apple" of this product and that's why they seem to be falling apart when I only wear them for an hour and a half, four days a week.

Hate the sock fit, sorry. Also prefer tons of cushioning. But that's me. I gave them to a coworker who likes them. Prefer Glycerin

These are good looking shoes with a snug fit. However, the top eyelet/lace loop on the inside of both shoes digs in hard on your foot. I keep trying to adjust the laces and my foot to see if it's a fluke but so far, it's more of a design flaw.

The shoe was too tight and uncomfortable. All my previous Brooks have fit perfectly. This pair had to be returned.

So cute and stylish but these are the most uncomfortable thing I've ever put on my feet. I am always a normal width for Brooks but theses strangled my feet and left pressure marks. They don't offer a wide. The size was great but width made it unbearable.

This shoe fits like a super tight Lycra sock. Not what I expected or wanted at all. Very uncomfortable. And to think I bought them to replace another pair of brooks that ripped at the seam only after a couple of months of gentle walking wear. Disappointing.

Everything on this sneaker is tight. Tight width, tight tie box. Tried them on, took them right off. Not a good fit for me.

These shoes are SO pretty. The only problem is that the sock fit on these give you major blisters so I had to return. They are super light and have a very springy feeling. I would try them out, see if you have this blister issue and if not keep them!

Unfortunately, I will be returning them. They are rubbing against the back of my heels and the bottom of my heels hurt after one run. I am back to wearing my old Brooks running sneakers.

I wanted to love these shoes, but I had two major issues. First, they are very difficult to put on. You have to really smash your foot into the shoe and pull hard to get it on. Second, they hurt the outside edge of my foot--close to the pinky toe--within moments of putting them on. It felt like something hard was pushing in on my foot. I chose this shoe based on the shoe finder on the Brooks website, but they're a no-go for me.

I am disappointed in these shoes. Ran a mile in them, and my shins started to hurt. The bounce-back energy "richochet" feature is a bit over-hyped. I would just like to have shoes that don't hurt. Not enough support for my use. The fit is too snug across the arch. Lengthwise it is ok.

The fit was true-to-size, but the width is a bit narrow. The heel is extrememly uncomfortable. I have been buying Brooks for over five years and always love that they are so comfortable straight out of the box. These are so uncomfortable that after wearing them around the house for fifteen minutes, I already had developed blisters on my heels. I decided to return them. Very disappointing as they are beautiful shoes.
