Not as springy as I expected. Kind of feels like it's going to wear out quickly. I don't love the sock-like upper construction, but that's just personal preference and does not affect the functionality of the shoe.

I love this shoe! I have run in 3 pairs of the Ricochet 1s and was excited to try the 2s. The cushioning is slightly different in the newer version and took a couple of runs to break in, but after that, they're great! I wear then on all my long runs!

I have tried many brooks models and these feel real nice. They are lighter weight than the levitate and bedlam. I find it has really good heel support. I actually have used these to teach zumba class. They have great support for running but do enjoy the bedlam and levitate more for a longer run.

Love these shoes. The back part is a little firm and has the potential to rub your heel, but has not happened to me yet, with the appropriate socks.

Love the look of these shoes! They’re sleek and much sportier than the previous Ricochets. My last pair felt a little like I was wearing supportive shoes for older people, these feel look more youthful and sporty. I feel stylish wearing these for purposes other than working out. I’m 36 for reference. I gave them 4 stars because I know people have complained about blisters because of the way they’re cut in the back, I had a little bit of rubbing but not enough to bother me. I do see how it would cause some people to blister. I have very narrow heels (and a narrow foot in general) so I think that helps. These, like the previous version, have the padded heels grips. These are also lower cut than than the previous version but still feel very stable. The sock style fit makes the shoe an adjustable slip on basically but very stable and supportive. Definitely a solid athletic shoe. I normally wear an 8.5 in Brooks and the 8.5 in these fit perfectly. My usual shoe size is an 8. I was told in athletic shoes to always size up half a size. I have bunions on both sides of my feet on both feet and these have a well proportioned toe box and very comfortable for my bunions.

I like them a lot. Maybe so stiff to run for me, that is why i am eyeing Ghost with cushion for running. But these are great for everyday use and leisure walks.

These shoes are actually slip-ons. I had foot surgery a while back and could not bend my foot enough to slip into these shoes, even with a shoe horn. Very disappointing, as these shoes and light weight and attractive.

Fits a little snug in instep. I don't care for the "sock" like feel. Comfortable cushion sole, beautiful colors.

Overall this was a good shoe. The fit was good, if a little tight, but my knee needed a different amount of support. This is a good stability shoe, mostly neutral, and very sturdy.

Worn twice now on 3+ mile runs. I like these alot! I wish there was a bit mor cushion in the sole but the smooth upper and no real tongue it hels my arches stay stable without extra pressure some shoes have.

I've been running faster with these and the return feels good for mid-distance run (2-6 miles). The only thing is the back which has given me bloody blisters from running. I'm still waiting for it be broken in bit until then I'll be wearing thicker and higher socks.

I typically don't go for "sockfit" shoes as I usually need extra ankle support but fits really well after a few wears! I went 1/2 size up per recommendation and was a little worried because at initial wear shoe felt a little loose on my first test run. But about a month in now and love them. Worn between road running and gym workouts. For someone with a low to medium arch it has fairly good cushioning and support. Lightweight and flexible. Ordered the black pair, received many compliments on the colors!

I went 1/2 size up per recommendation and was a little worried because at initial wear shoe felt a little loose. But about a month in now and love them. Previously ordered PureFlow 7 in normal size 7.5 but way too snug. Sizing up in these I have enough room in the toe box. Worn between road running and gym workouts. For someone with a low to medium arch it has fairly good cushioning and support. Lightweight and breathable.

I loved it, but it was too tight. Please make a wide version in the future.

Excellent shoe! I could use a little more arch support, but that's a common problem for me. I've run sprint intervals, endurance and tempo runs in these with no issue.

These are my first (Brooks) deviation from the adrenaline! I have been loyal to the adrenaline for 10+ years, but wanted tontrt a different option since I don't totally need the stability. These are a nice shoe, they feel lighter than the adrenaline, but also feel less substantive (unsurprisingly) and feel more in touch with the ground. I was nervous about the sock fit but it's no problem at all, these shoes are awesome and I will likely buy this model again in the future! Fit is great and had no issues there switching models, fit is true to size. I do wish this model had more than 2 color ways though.

I thought the shoe was well constructed and provided a neutral, supportive feel in my stride. The uppers were comfortable and lacing was customizable. However, I sent the shoes back to try the Brooks launch 7, because I felt like the ricochet did not have the energy or spring that was touted on the website. Especially on toe-off, the feel was stiff and like I was running on a piece of flat hard rubber, which is not ideal for my metatarsal joint pain that flares now and then. I think it a matter of personal feel and preference than anything "wrong" with the shoe. I look forward to receiving the Launch 7 pair to give them a spin.

Great pair of shoes with awesome design. Initially, I though about returning them, as they felt way too narrow (even for my already narrow feet). However, after wearing for about a month, they now fit perfectly.

This is a comfortable shoe for the most part. I purchased them for running. I did not like the "sock" fit and for me, the backs are high and caused blisters even wearing good socks. I returned them and I am going to try the glycerin, which I have run in in the past. *I usually wear 9.5 in shoes and I wear 10.5 in brooks

The fit seems a little more snug where the toes are than what I’m used to, ex. the Revel 3, but not uncomfortably snug. I’m keeping these but I’m ordering another Revel 3 pair. My friend is too. We both bought a pair and both thought the comfort was immediate and better than anything else we bought (in my case, this pair). Don’t get me wrong, these Ricochets aren’t uncomfortable: they have cushion, I like how the make of the shoe is constructed and they are pretty, just not as comfortable as others.

I typically wear a 12 in shoes. For running, I like to go up a half size. These shoes are great for me, if I go sock-less. I have a narrow foot and these are a bit narrow so they fit fine for me. They are light and I like so much, I order another pair, but in men so I can go up a half size and use them for runs.

I have two pair of Brooks Pure Grit running shoes I bought years ago and they are still the only sneakers I can wear all day without my Morton's neuroma acting up. They are falling apart but I couldn't find replacements since they discontinued the style. These Richocet 2 are similar to the Pure Grit. They are light-weight, and most importantly they have a very low differential. I'm a walker, not a runner -- if you're looking for good support and something that will take a pounding, these probably aren't for you. They almost felt like slippers when I first tried them on. The uppers are all one piece so there's no tongue and the material is very "fabric-like" -- they're kind of like very structured low-rise socks. Super comfortable! Because of the one-piece design, to get them on and off you have to loosen the laces (you can't just step into them or slip them off). I don't know how long they'll last, but I'm loving them so far.

I run 3-4 miles 3 times a week and sprints on a Tuff Tread Performance Treadmill. I also add a day with 5-10 miles when training for a half-marathon. I love these shoes! They feel supportive and fast. I wore them for a half marathon and my feet didn't hurt during or after the race. I knocked a star off because I have felt a weird bubble in left toe box twice now during a run...it was like the soft material was pushing through..but flattened back out after a few minutes...Brooks was great about replacing my shoe! Thanks! This is my first pair of Brooks and I'm happy! I have always ran with Nike for the last 20 years, but decided to finally try Brooks because my toes started to go numb during runs and I always had blisters on my heels! This model is not for someone who like super soft..but I don't like when a shoe is so cushioned that is soaks up your energy to run. These are a good balance!
