This shoes fits extremely tight even when tied loosely. These shoes cut into the back of my heels which hurt when I run. I had to place band aids over the cuts.

The design of the heel/Achilles is so poor that it rubbed my Achilles raw. I don’t know how anyone can wear these without getting blisters on the Achilles. Unfortunately I had to return them.

Out of the dozens of Brooks I've had, the Bedlam is one of only two that I've disliked. The shoe is comfortable to walk in, but very heavy, stiff, and not great for running. As a runner who pronates, the shoe did not work for me and I would not recommend it.

I wore this shoe twice and it gave me unbelievable blisters on the upper part of my heel. I had to return them. The back part of the shoe turns in and rubs so badly.

I wanted to love these shoes but they gave me horrible blisters on my upper heal. The angle of the back of the shoe presses into my heal and rubs very badly. I tried adjusting the lacing and different socks but it felt very uncomfortable. I have run in Brooks shoes before and not had a similar issue. The support from the shoe felt good. Unfortunately, this was not the shoe for me.

The look and feel of them are great until you actually start to use them for exercise. The back dug into my ankle that I was bleeding. I've worn them about 4 more times and have to wear bandaids and higher socks but still haven't broke them in enough. Disappointed for the price I paid. And they aren't too small; it's just the design of the shoe.

I love love loveD the original Bedlam. I have two pairs of the original. Thinking that the Bedlam2 would be equally great I again order 2 pair. That was not the case and I don't understand why running shoe co always do this with their shoes. The Bedlam 2 fits equally great around the toe bed and does feel more stable/supportive than the original. The major problem is the heel box. The shoe comes up and in onto the heel causing rubbing and irritation on the heel. They even bother me when walking around doing daily activities. I have to wear above the ankle socks when running or put on a bandage prior to my run. I've never owned a pair or running shoes that have irritated my heel like these. I returned them and went back to running in my old original Bedlam's.
In search again of a new favorite shoe.

Super cute & I love the colors. This is my second pair of brooks and of course they are comfortable but they are not as comfortable as my Glycerin. The fabric around my ankle is irritating and as left small blisters.

Cushion was nice but the back of the shoe gave me a blister. I am not happy with how they have changed the heal of the shoe.

Shoes were heavy and very hot. Style was nice and they fit well.

The heel goes up too high, the fabric is rough/firm and has rubbed blisters 3 times now. Even with thick socks the tension and material don't make for the best combo. Sad bc the shoe is so comfortable otherwise

I loved Bedlam 1 - have owned 5 pairs! I am not certain why the design has changed but I returned my Bedlam 2 - very disappointing shoe! The toe box is more narrow, the shoe fits about 1/2 size smaller, and the heel has cushioning in all the wrong places (blisters waiting to happen). Time to look for a new shoe (or brand ?).

Love everything about them EXCEPT the “sock fit”. They dig into the backs of my ankles.

At first the shoes felt plush and comfortable. Then I went out walking in them. My heel slid around so I had trouble maintaining my pace. Also, the tongue is attached so it?s difficult to tighten the shoe with the laces. I get a deep crease down the middle of the shoe. The toes box was comfortable and I like the look, but I had to return them.

I couldn't wear these more than 10 minutes, I am a long time Brooks fan, and was trying out something different from my Adrenaline. The heel part nearly rubbed a blister on my Achilles Tendon after just walking around the house for a few minutes (I have never had a problem with this before)
I also was not a fan of the lower heel drop (which I know is a personal preference and a hotly debated topic).
I did love the design, and the stretchy fabric, but this is not the shoe for me at all!

Returned after trying on due to heel cup cutting into back of Achilles. Didn't even attempt to run in them as they were so uncomfortable with just wearing.

I couldn't run in these for 10 min! Blisters BIG TIME! I feel like they run tight. I'm a 7.5 narrow foot and these were tight on my feet. I wouldn't recommend these. I used them for the firs time on the tread and I had to take them off and put my old NB running shoes on after 10 min! I had blister on both upper, back ankles. Not what I expected from a Brooks running shoes and very disappointed.

This shoe comes up very high in the back and the first time I wore them, they caused cuts on both ankles. Of course I wore them outside so now I can't return them. So now I'm experimenting with different socks to try to make them comfortable. Do not buy!

I absolutely loved the look of these shoes. The problem is in the fit of the heel. It comes up too high on the back of my heel and seems to cut in too much. They left me with terrible blisters. Otherwise, they fit great but I will unfortunately have to return them.

Gorgeous shoe but needs to be redesigned. The bulky part of the heel is uncomfortable after only a few hours of wear and was rubbing a blister. Thick socks may or may not help given how thick the back is. I ignored other reviews saying the exact same thing but ended up learning the same lesson for myself. Other than the heel, could be a great shoe.

Nothing like the original Bedlams. Disappointed going to actually order the original to make up for these. My feet actually hurt after my run in these
