Great shoe for running but I have to wear tabbed socks or the back rubs my heal. Much more cushion than my Anthems but not as much arch support as my Glycerins.

I like the feel of the shoe. I like the support it gives. I have only worn them a couple of times, but the heel really rubs. It is stiff and I had to wear a higher sock to not get a blister. I am hoping the it will soften up. I don't remember ever having that problem with the earlier model.

I don't think I'd give any shoe a 5, so keep that in mind.
I became interested in Brooks running shoes after a friend let me try on her Caldera which was super springy. The Bedlam is not as springy, but is light, soft and comfortable on runs.

I generally do not like getting new shoes. Comments about the Bedlam 2 left me worried. I love the new eyelets for lacing up however, the back comes up way to high. I am not sure if I've ever had a blister from my running shoes. But I sure did this time! I hope higher socks will make a difference.

My ankles and feet are supported very well in this shoe and I can run farther before onset of any shin discomfort. The only con is the high sock-like fit around the ankle.. I got blisters on my Achilles the first time I wore them but they seem to have broken in now.

I love the Levitate 2 and wanted to try another shoe in the Energize family. I have used these a few times and like them. The first run I did get a blister on the back of my heel and I've never had that problem with the Levitate. I wore a thicker sock the next time and it seemed to help. I ordered it in the same size I wear in the Levitate and it felt tight but it has stretched out a little.

I like these better than the first model. I do not have an issue with the heel stitch that others report. I wear feetures no show socks and cannot feel the stitching. I only wish they came in more colors

I fell in love with the look of this shoe and was currently wearing an asic that was way too loose around the ankles and left me feeling like I had no support. The minute I put these shoes on I was so disappointed because I thought I was going to have to send them back. They wrap around and dig into the back of the heel and I was so nervous that they were going to give me blisters. However I wore my socks that come up around the ankles and they were perfect! I did a long run this weekend and they were great. Lots of support and very comfortable, but I had to wear socks that came up above the shoe, so I can see why people don't like them.

So far, I like these. There are a bit odd around the ankle but I wear my Bombas running ankle socks and they work. I wouldn’t wear a no show with this shoe. They are more cushioned than the Ravenna but not as “squishy” as the Adrenaline.

Beautiful shoe Wanted to love it but it kept sliding off my heel. Love the look and feel, didn't like the slip.

I still, a couple months later have problems with it rubbing against my heel and leaving a painful sore. Other than that they are very comfy.

I bought a size up because my feet are wide but I don't think I would do any distance running in them. 5K races are good, but anything further and I'd have blisters.

I bought this because I have Brooks in the past and was looking for a fashionable shoe and it looked like it would fit my narrow heel. Unfortunately I would need a wide in this, the toe box was too tight. And I need a shoe for overprontation. I did like the back of the shoe on my heel.

Loved the style and overall fit, however there was not enough arch support when I wore them for running...disappointed.

This is my first pair of Brooks running shoes, and I was hoping for MAGIC. Although the shoes have great support, and definitely are an upgrade from my tired, old trainers...they tear up the back of my foot. I'm not sure if they just need breaking in, or they are just not going to work for my feet.

I like the way they look. They fit comfortably, but I only wore twice. The first time I walked in them and only wore for an hour. The second time I walked in them on flat pavement for about 45 minutes but did not take off and kept on about 8 hours. When I took off shoes, I had a large blister only on my left inside of big toe. I wore the same sock style and brand and model that I've been wearing for 15 years. Not sure why the blister. It took a while to heal and have been afraid to wear since then.

This shoe seems like a great shoe.
But for my foot the arch is not in the correct spot and was not a good fit for me.
I have trouble with my knees so it is crucial that I get the right fit. The Adrenalin 19 shoe seems more to my needs even though I can't seem to find them since they changed the shoe.

The back top of the shoe is not padded well, gave me a blister on the back of my ankle. I'm not sure if I will be able to break them in enough that I can continue to try and use them or not.

Cushion is great but the back is to high for my foot. Other than that it is a nice run shoe.

This shoe just wasn't for me, but I still absolutely LOVE Brooks sneakers (and wouldn't run in anything else). I have a wide foot, and so the narrow fit hurt my foot when running. And the low back gave me blisters. Someone with a more narrow foot would probably love it! I ended up returning the shoe and ordering a Ghost 12, which I can't wait to come in. Although I couldn't wear the Bedlam, I still gave it a 3 star rating (instead of a 1), because I can tell some runners would like this sneaker. And the return policy seems to be easy (I returned the shoe and am now waiting on the refund).

I REALLY like the look of the shoe. The type of lacing and less padded tongue were great, very snug and comfortable (I normally feel pressure at the top of my foot from other shoes, but not these!). Overall it was comfortable, if a bit on the firm side. My big issue was with the top, back of the shoe (the heel collar?), which dug into my achilles and gave me blisters. I thought I could break them in so that didn't happen, but it persisted.

I have had two pairs of Brooks Ghost shoes in the past. I wanted to try the Bedlam to see if it would help alleviate some knee and hip pain that occurs while running. This shoe just wasn't for me. I loved the ankle support and the fit of this shoe but the sole just didn't feel quite right. I returned and replaced with the Ghost 13. I think this is a great shoe, just not quite right for me.

I love Brooks and I absolutely loved the look of the Bedlam 2. They didn't make my foot look big and they felt really supportive when I initially tried them on but that's about it.
I would recommend going a full size up - initially ordered my standard running shoe 10.5 but found after one run that was too small so I sized up to an 11. These fit more like a 10.5 and I thought they would be good. However after several 2-3 miles runs, I think I'm trying to convince myself they're good. My feet always feel sore while running and the heel (as other reviews have said) digs in - even when I switched to a higher sock, I still got a bad blister.
I think they'd be good for a more casual walking, or everyday sneaker but that's not what I need right now so I'm sadly going to return.
