That back part of the shoe rubs on the back of your ankle and does not feel right.

They are a little hard. I don't enjoy running in them so they are my walking around shoes now.

The back of the shoe digs into my heels. I can only where these shoes with tall socks, otherwise I get terrible blisters. Great shoe otherwise though.

SO different than the Brooks Bedlam 1, had to return. Heel hits at different spot and gave me an immediate blister. The toe bed is wider if you are looking for that.

I love the look of these shoes. I would not wear for running. They don't have as much cushion as the Brooks Ghost. I got blisters from the back of the shoe rubbing the back of my heel. I have to wear socks that come up over the back of the shoe so they don't rub.

It's ok. The top of the heal is very thin and rubs against the back of my feet. I got a very good price on them and won't return them. I will however stick with the Glycerin or Cascadia.

Heel fabric cuts right in to the back of my achilles, the padding does not go high enough.
The top of the shoe is also uncomfortably tight on my high arched feet, loosening the laces helps but then the fit is loose elsewhere. Love the colors, love the cushion and the inside arch support.

I'm on the fence with these. Very stylish and nice clean look. I like the snug fit, though toes are a bit too roomy. Did a 3 mile run and my feet felt so hot and the run was not comfortable. No cushioning. Did an 11 mile run today and still, my feet felt incredibly hot. Still no cushioning feel. Only plus is that my speed increased by a minute compared to wearing my Adrenaline. My Adrenaline needed to be replaced and always felt heavy, so a Brooks representative recommended these for a good run with overpronation. But it lacks cushioning and I do not know why it's hot, despite appropriate socks. I'm not sure if I will keep them.

The look of the shoe is nice and they're very stylish. However the mouth of the shoe is very tight on the back of the ankle and they're uncomfortable without socks.

I really wanted to like these shoes. I even applied a heel liner which didn’t stick. But it hurt my heels and left blisters. I’m sad to return them.

Nice looking sneaker, was comfortable with the exception one rubbed again my heel constantly and I only could wear them twice before I gave up.

The shoe itself is comfy, I was able to wear it for over 14 hours. The only super problem is the stitching on the back behind your ankle bone digs in and causes major discomfort. My solution to that problem is that I cover that area with large size bandaids- other than the show is a great shoe. I have yet, to try putting miles in it, due to the digging problem; after a few miles I think the bandaids would fall off & you'd have a major problem.

Didn’t get past slipping the shoe on. The sock like fit is not for me. I’m confident blisters would be an issue. The sole felt very supportive and sturdy. The toe box was nice and wide. Luckily Zappos carries many more Brooks and returns are easy. I’ll keep looking!

I like that the shoe is light however it seems to lack support on the side and fits tightly around my ankle rubbing on the back if I don't wear a sock high enough to keep it from touching me

These shoes were very tight around the top of my foot and hurt the back of my heel. Other than that I can see why runners love them. I'll try to break them in more but may be returning on the near future.

I loved the levitate, but tried these during pregnancy for more stability. They caused more breakdown and running on my heels but otherwise felt more stable and absorbed shock more than the levitates.

I just want to start off by saying this is my third pair of brooks and I have loved every single pair. I have worn the Levitates and decided to try this pair as I liked the added support. I always run in crew socks and have not had an issue until I wore them with ankle socks as I was traveling and wanted a comfortable shoe on. After a few hours I started to feel a pressure on the back of my heel and once I began walking I instantly felt a rub that was extremely uncomfortable and felt like a blister was going to form. I changed into crew socks and that pressure went away. I would recommend these shoes if you don't mind running/walking in crew socks however, if you do not like wearing crew socks I would not recommend this shoe.

I bought these for my wife. She said she really likes them except for the part around the ankle. It rubs and chafed her ankles.

First, the good...these are a really gorgeous shoe (I purchased in white). I get compliments on them all the time. I didn't buy them for running but for style (I wear Glycerins for my runs). I have a high saddle on my foot so sometimes the tongue and laces can be very painful but these are very smooth over the top of my foot. I also LOVE all the room in them. Now, the bad...holy heel blisters! There is an odd stitch right at the top of the heel, along my achilles that rubs a crazy blister within minutes, on both feet. However, because they are such a great looking and comfortable shoe (blisters aside, which I use skin colored blister tape to prevent) I'm giving 3 stars instead of 2. There is no way I could run any sort of distance in these though. Fix that heel issue and these shoes are GOLDEN!

Despite 2 defective pairs sent to me, I was able to try them on. If you buy the 1/2 size up from your normal shoe size there’s plenty of room in the forefoot, ankle felt secure, the new lacing system works fine, and they look great. They aren’t as cushioned as the previous model. Zappos, as usual, provided excellent care as the defects were manufacturer issues.

I'm not sure yet on what I think. I put them on when I got them in, and within about 10 minutes my left foot was aching. Right foot was fine. My favorite thing about these, is the top tongue of the shoe, feels like almost spandex over my foot. It's very thin, and like the description says, it literally fits like a glove. However, the back is also thin, and I can totally see a rubbing issue on my skin. (A different pair of socks may help) They are a very attractive shoe. I have severe flat feet, wear a size 8. I ordered a 9, and it seems to have a good fit. Cushion wise, I don't feel a whole lot of comfort. But support wise, minus not having an arch, The outer part of my feet feel supported, as well as my heel, and my forefoot.

I had such high hopes for this shoe. I was replacing Adrenalines - I’ve worn Adrenalines for the last 6 or 7 years - that need to be tossed out. I decided to try something new, thinking there might be something better.
I ordered the Bedlam 2 on the 30th and got them a day later. I wore them this morning (1/1/20) for the first run. Not 1/2 a mile in to it, I had a blister on the back of my ankle so I turned around and came home. I normally wear a 7 is regular shoes but I ALWAYS size-up 1/2 a size for my running and gym shoes. I think that was the problem. The Bedlam’s are going back to Zappos and I’m going back to my trusty Adrenaline’s.

Wanted to love this but the back of the integrated colar is too high so it chafes against my upper ankle. Everything else about the shoe lives up to the Brooks quality I love and appreciate, so if you have the proper ankle shape this could work for you.

The stiff top of the heels digs into my ankle very uncomfortable to walk with something rubbing my heel. I am returning this shoes. It's my first time buying this brand of shoes but they are not as comfortable as I was expecting, I might a different style.
