I don't run. I do cardio dance and these have a very decent amount of cushion under the ball of my foot which is essential for the jumping and bouncing I do. I love most parts of this shoe, except for the part that rubs my heel. My last pair did the same at first and then when they were broken in, it didn't bother me anymore. I hope that is the case with these. My high schooler even told me the stripes were cool.

These shoes provide very good support for high arches for long running and sprinting but the back does rub on my achilles a little. Definitely need to wear good socks with support on the achilles for these shoes.

I've never had an issue with blisters and although I always wear socks, these shoes give me blisters on the backs of both of my heels. The stability and support of the shoe is great, but there is something about the curvature or height of the back that is literally irritating.

It's one of the most comfortable shoes in terms of feeling supported and alleviating ankle pain (I have posterior tib tendinitis) that I have ever owned. I took away one star because the back rubs against my Achilles but if you wear tall socks it won't matter.

This show has a great response and feels light and airy. The stability is perfect as it sets your foot comfortably after the foot strike. I'm only giving this shoe 4 stars due to the back portion of the shoe being a bit too high and the thin material being somewhat problematic without high socks. If you wear no show socks the material would definitely dig into the back of your ankle.

I really like this shoe except for the same problem others have mentioned - they rub the back of my ankle so I'm returning.

Very stylish. Still needs a bit of breaking in to be truly comfortable.

I don't run, but I bought these as work shoes. Only major downside is that they are VERY slippery on a wet floor. Like trying to walk in roller skates. Other than that, they are great! Good support, not too tight on my toes, and they don't rub uncomfortably in any place. I just wish there was better traction.

The shoes run light and energetic. The fabric is great and breathable. I just recommend wearing high socks or reinforced socks as they can cause heel blisters.

If it weren't for the back heel design, as other reviewers have mentioned, these would have worked out so well. They're so comfortable, lightweight, and offer stability without looking so clunky as stability running shoes tend to appear. Even with socks on, I could feel the top edge of the back rubbing slightly against one of my heels, and I knew it would bother me or cause blisters if I were to wear them walking around all day.

Not enough cushion for me. I realize I need more cushion. It’s a nice shoe otherwise. Not my color choice but it was all they had.

this is a second pair I purchased. I have found overall that Brooks running shoes run small, so I usually go up a half of a size. these fit well. I don't recommend them for running, as the comfort, for me, is not as good as other Brooks running shoes that I have purchased. These are for every day use.

Great shoe, very comfortable. Only issue is the back of the show runs against my heel and has broken to skin so I had to buy socks that cover my ankles, which is very uncomfortable. The shoe would be perfect if the heel wasn't so high.

I really liked the feel, and comfort of the shoe. Good support. You'll need to wear a little longer sock, in order to keep the back of your foot from rubbing.

I purchased the Bedlam 1 when they first came out and LOVED them. I recently purchased the Bedlam 2 and do not like them as much. They are still very good, I do not like the new tongue as much and I find them to be a little tighter around the mid foot along with some heel slippage. Overall these are not bad shoes, they are just not my favorite Brooks shoes.

If I could give these shoes 4.5 stars I would. These shoes are as close to perfect as I have ever experienced in an athletic shoe. Pros *Lightweight *Sturdy *Supportive *Fashionable *Style looks like expensive designer shoes by Jimmy Choo, Chanel or Louboutin Cons *May rub heel if worn barefoot. No show socks will solve this issue. I highly recommend these shoes. I cannot wait to train for my next race in Brooks running shoes!

Great shoe but it rubs my Achilles raw on the back of my ankle so you'll need socks with the little ankle piece on them.

Love the color (gray). The fit is normal for Brooks. I usually wear a 7.5 and in all shoes but running shoes and boots are a solid 8. Brooks toe box has gotten more narrow through the years, but these are normal fitting. Not too narrow and not too much room. These are also not as springy as I would like, but they're very supportive and grounded. I had to wear running socks with a heel tab so that I won't get an awful heel rub.

Overall I like the snug fit in the heel, the arch support, and the wider toe box. The first few times I wore the shoe, it dug into my Achilles, but after a few times, loosened up. I only wear brooks, for work & training. I am disappointed there were no health care worker discounts available when I purchased, especially since I recommend brooks to many

Another, nice, supportive Brooks shoe. I was looking for something to wear everyday and walking that wasn't quite as bulky as the Beast or Adrenaline. The size feels a bit correct. Can't tell if they are narrow, or just fit snugly. Still not used to, and really don't like, the new sock kind of liner that wraps the insole that shoes are incorporating lately. I find them too tight. Despite the snug fit, I'm going to keep them, hoping that they will either losen up, or form better to my foot over time.
