Overall shoe was comfortable but the heel of the shoe rubbed really bad on the back of my ankles which caused blisters everytime I wore them. I was so sad that they weren't working for me because I love my levitate 2!

I loved loved loved Levitate 2 and bought 5 of them...Levitate 3 was a big disappointment. Caused major irritation and rubbing on my upper heal where there sneak would rub terrible. I would have put band-aids on before going out for a run.

I have previously work the Brooks Levitate 1 & 2 shoes in a size 9. Both models fit me perfectly. I ordered the 3LE and it doesn't fit. This shoe is at least 1/2 size smaller than the previous Levitate designs. Very disappointing as I now have to go through the hassle of returning and trying another size.

Narrow at the toe. Not as supportive as I had thought they'd be. This is my first pair of Brooks, I'm not sure Im bought into the hype of them.

Nice and springy, but left me with a major blister on my heel. Tried letting it heal and trying again, but that spot just rubs. Will be returning and going back to Ghosts.

I wanted to love these but they were just not as comfortable as the Ghost. I love the style and colors for the Levitates way better than ghost but as far as comfort goes Ghost wins hands down. The levitates were really hard on my heels and though it's improved with a wider toe box it could even be just a little wider. Sadly I returned them for. Pair of Ghost 12.

Really nice to run on, but the curved design of the heel literally dug into heel so bad I bled multiple times. Tried to make it work, but not worth trying to make it work with price point.

I bought these even though the reviews said they were very narrow. I have extremely narrow feet, so was excited to read about a shoe that might be perfect for me. I purchased them at a store and tried them on. They felt amazing - until I wore them. The back of the heel is so high up that it rubs on my achilles tendon. I wore taller socks, but it still rubbed all the skin off. These are the most expensive Brooks I've ever purchased, so very disappointed. I've owned over 20 pairs of Brooks and this is the only pair I haven't loved.

Very narrow shoe! I loved the older levitates so much more. The tongue of the shoe is sown in..It left marks all over my feet from being so tight. I don't have wide feet. They have changed it too much in my opinion. So disappointed..I loved this shoe.

The previous versions of the Levitate have been my go-to shoe for running for the past 2 years. When I first found the original version I immediately went out and bought a second pair, because it was the first time I had found a shoe that I could run in that felt so comfortable and springy. I felt like a better runner! So hey, another updated version (the Levitate 3) must be even better...right? Sadly, no. The Levitate 3 feels nothing like the other versions to me. It feel like a completely different shoe. It doesn't feel as "springy" or as responsive, which isn't necessarily a deal breaker. Where this version loses all its stars is in the heel and where shoe rubs on the achilles (this version rises up a lot higher on the back of the heel than on previous versions). I swear there's razor blades built into this shoe, as they have literally left me bleeding. This renders the shoe unwearable for me, even with thick socks (which I do not prefer to wear). I have even worn blister prevention K-tape and tried Glide in combo with the thick, higher rise socks, and the irritation from these shoes on the back of the heel is unbearable. I gave it a good effort, trying to break them in on several runs, but my ankles are waving a white flag...they've had enough. The original version of the Levitate was easily the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, and the Levitate 3 is honestly the most uncomfortable solely due to incredible heel/achilles irritation created by this shoe.

Loved my levitate 1 and 2s. I was so excited to see the new black and white color in the 3s and try them out. I ordered size 8 since this is what I had in my other 2 pairs. They were too small and my toes were hitting the end. I sent them back and got the 8.5. Thought this would be better but not completely satisfied. I had to order new socks as the back rubs the Achilles area. I also struggle now with the heel being to wide, but cannot tighten the shoe enough because it causes a tight band across the front of the foot. I also have to tighten the laces the whole way up the shoe to keep my foot from sliding. I also am not a fan of cushioned socks, but had to order those to keep my foot from sliding. I by no means have a narrow foot at all. I am an avid runner. I don't run marathons, but do compete 4-6 miles regularly at least 5 times per week and train for half marathons as well. I will not return this pair as I have tried to continue running in them because of my other pairs are very worn out. With no stores open at this time, I cannot continue to buy and return shoes. Overall, disappointed with the changes made and looking to the time I can switch up my shoes again.

I've been wearing glycerins for a few years and last year I decided to change to the levitate. I bought the levitates 2 and loved them!! (I did have the levitate 1 but only wore them for a short time) I wore them for my first marathon this past October and felt great. So, when those shoes were ready to retire I was very excited to grab pair of the levitate 3's. Not a fan like I was with the 2's . I don't get the blisters like some of the other reviewers but for me they are more narrow and tight. I do have a small bunion my my right foot and these shoes took some breaking in for that not to bother me. But if I don't but a body glide on my foot I'll get a blister. Please bring back the levitate 2's! Best version so far. Out of any of my running shoes I wore those out the most. Still wearing the 3's but probably won't purchase another pair.

I loved these shoes. I got them for Christmas. I go to the gym in them and walk the dog. Today I discovered a huge crack in the sole of the shoe. Very frustrating for the price.

I just received these shoes as a birthday gift and I really wanted to love them. The color is awesome! I have been in my Brooks Glycerin 18 for two years and was in desperate need of a new pair. The sock-like fit made me feel supported at first but, like other reviews have mentioned, after about a mile it was rubbing on my heel and caused some chafing and blistering. I haven't been able to run in them since. The shoe also sits higher on my ankle than any other pair of Brooks I own which I didn't even notice until I put on my old shoes.

I normally love the Levitate shoes but the 3's are not designed well! They rub blisters on the back of my ankles (Achilles area) regardless of what type of socks I wear. I hope Brooks will redesign these to be cut more like the Levitate 2.

This is my first pair of Brooks I do like them, but the shoe it?s self is heavy and they give me shin splint and I never had that before and I have ran most of my adult life.

Super cute, but will be returning. I love the levitate 2 and was hoping to like these, but they rub my heal and create a bad blister. I did try more then once hoping it was a fluke but it did it again.

I usually wear Ravenna, but wanted to try something new. I wanted to love these, but they did not work for me. I had the same issue as others with the heel chafing and causing blisters, even with socks and even after several runs to break them in. I also find the toe box to be too restrictive, and I have narrow feet. I will be going back to Ravenna!

Beautiful shoe good support BUT I had to return them :( these shoes gave me really bad blisters on my back heel they cut through both my feet.

So the overall fit and comfort for my foot is great, but the back sucks....who puts a high up backing where it digs into and rubs against the top of the heel???? I'm so frustrated to have spent a lot of money on quite an uncomfortable pair of shoes.

The rear of the shoe is higher than last years levitate and iratates my ankle. Definitely no roll for these shoes, some may love that but it makes me feel sore after a workout. I've worn them a dozen times and I have to go back to last years model until I find a replacement. Great looking.

Really nice color, breathable fabric around the toes. But the back of the shoe would curl and would dig into the back of my ankles. It became very uncomfortable, and I do not usually have long socks to prevent the running. I had to return. Again beautiful shoe but not as comfortable as it looks.

The look is cool. I also along with several others agree I LOVED the levitate 1 & 2 both! They were my go to shoe. The 3 runs my heel and I would consider my foot to be more narrow & this shoe is TIGHT. Fits smaller than the 1 & 2. I was excited for these & was let down. The design is disappointing.
