Shoes are not for me. Felt good at first, but at mile two my foot started hurting badly like it was being squeezed by the shoe. Concluded shoes are too narrow for my feet.

Love the light weight feel and the fact the tongue was sewn in. That's actually why I bought thwm! They were very cushiony and all around great. But I couldn't wear them for more than 5 minutes just walking around the house without getting a blister on my achilles. Sad to have to return them.

I was so excited to get these shoes- this would have been my second pair of Levitates and I LOVED the first. However, this pair was no where near as good as the first. The sock-like technology around the heel/ higher heel cup has given me such bad (repeated) blisters on both Achilles (which I never have had from a pair of Brooks running shoes) I thought it may be because the shoes needed to be broken in- which I attempted, however it did not help. I've been trying to run in these for 3+ weeks now, and sadly I am unable to continue using them. Very disappointed because Brooks has always been a great shoe to me.

Really wanted to live these. Love my Levitate 2s but my size is out so I ordered these. The top of the back rubs so bad. I almost turned back and ran home. It's not bc the socks weren't high enough - it's just really rigid. I'll be returning them.

I really wanted to love these shoes! I took the Brooks quiz, and these were the ones that were selected that I should buy. I thought the other commenters were just being dramatic with the blister comments, but I honestly did not make it a half mile before the back of my foot had a painful blister. I had to stop my run, turn around, and walk back home to change shoes. They looked great, but the sock part at the top is not a good idea.

I bought this pair of Brooks Levitate 3 to replace and upgrade my old Brooks Levitate 2 which were great, but these shoes gives me blisters in the back of my ankle. The material is tough.

Not as solid of a shoe as previous levitate models. I have had two pairs of levitates and idk if I will buy another pair after these. The front mesh on the shoe is too loose and the cushioning doesn't feel as substantial. I'm really disappointed because I used to love this shoe. I'm an ER nurse and used to function well in previous models but I cannot make it through a shift comfortably with this model. The next day my ankles are sore and balls of my feet ache.

These were comfortable with padding all over but the opening at the ankle rubbed against the back of my upper heal. During a short slow 3 mile run, it had rubbed the skin off and was bleeding into my sock. I do wear short ankle socks so maybe if you wear a longer sock, you won't have this issue. For the record, my left foot did not have this problem. It was only on the right. I tried rubbing the edge of the shoe with some chapstick to see if that would soften the fabric, did not work.

The material looks like it would be soft around the ankle, but it is very stiff on the back and curves into your ankle. They dug into my ankle so bad that I had to return shoes for a different pair.

I owned the levitate 2 version and loved them. This shoe is more narrow in the toe box and the upper is too tight. My feet literally fell asleep. The fabric around the ankle cut into the back of my ankle. I love the look, but sadly had to give them to my daughter. I am actively pursuing a new pair of levitate 2. I wish you had not changed them so drastically.

Very comfortable cushioning and support underfoot, but sadly returning because the back is digging into my ankles and causing blisters.

The back of the shoe was not soft and cushioned as in other Brooks shoes. It was rough and was hurting me, behind the ankle. I had to return them.

I was excited to get this shoes having had two pair of Levitate 2 that I wore out. I expected there to be some break in time, but I did not expect heel chaffing and blisters on booth feet. The heal cup is very ridged and came up high on my heel, uncomfortable to say the least. Now I am cautious about wearing them because there was also overall foot pain. I am disappointed, will I be able to return?

I want to like these but the rear of the shoe consistently rubs against my heel and makes it bleed! I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

The support and look of the shoe are excellent. The problem is the material at the back of the ankle. The material is tough and it rubs above my heel that it caused a blister. I'm trying to only wear them with high socks but I'm not happy with them. I wanted to get a second grey pair but I won't because of the discomfort. I have the prior version on theses and wear them all the time with no issues.

Okay for a couple of hours, was looking for comfort and more cushion. Not the value for the money I spent.

I am not a fan of the redesigned back of the 3's. It has rubbed blisters on my ankles and I have adjusted the shoe every way possible. I love the way the back of the 2's fit. Overall the toe of these feel tighter as well. I always go one size up. Not sure I like the overall changes of the 3.

These hurt the skin on my achilles tendon. The fabric at the back of the shoe wore down, and the shoe started cutting into me. I can't run in these now. They cut me at first, then they broke in and were ok for the first few months. Now that they are nearing the end of their life they started cutting again.

I've ran in Brooks levitate for years. Never had issues, until this model. Not a fan. They are tighter, my feet go numb, and I get blisters on the back of my ankle. Super bummed these fit like this. Now I have to play a guessing game at a new make.

At the moment I'm not quite fond of them. My last shoes I didn't have to wear socks (I really liked that about them) and in the first walk I did in these I got a blister. They're just a bit tight but I know they need to be broken in.

Wanted to love these. Great shoes other than at the top around the ankle. Wore them one time and they rub blisters around my ankle even with thicker socks. Sad, but won't being wearing these.
