Love the shoe! The cushion and support are great. Because I have such a narrow foot, I have to wear thick socks with them, but thats the sane for most any shoe. I am well-pleased with these shoes!

This is my second pair of Ariel20 running shoes. I ordered exactly the same size as my first pair, 8.5w but these are tighter across the toe box and appear to be slightly more pointed and not as wide as the previous pair. They are not roomy. Im disappointed as I really like the first pair and thought by ordering exactly the same size Id get the same fit.

I was gifted a pair of the Ariel 20 from a friend who works for Brooks. I, being a lifetime ASICS loyalist, decided to give Brooks a try. I was supposed to run 8 miles today and had to stop at 6, take these shoes off and run the last 2 barefoot. When I had the Ariel 20 on my mile times increased by MINUTES. When I took them off and ran barefoot my times went back to usual. I dont know what it is about these shoes, but it feels like they inhibited me from running. It felt like I was dragging a weight behind me. I hope my friend can get their money back.

Great shoe; I like the way it feels. it. It's not squeezing my feet but I should have chosen a wider shoe, that was my fault.

I always buy these shoes in the same size but for some reason this time they are tighter across the toes. Ive bought at least a pair a year for the last four years, if not longer and they just dont fit like the last ones.

They are beautiful shoes, however they didn't fit. They were about a half inch too small. I will be returning them.

Great except top of heel keeps collapsing and I need to use a shoehorn to keep it from folding inward

I was nervous about ordering the Ariels because for 10+ years, Ive always worn the Adrenaline GTS. However, I had some major issues with the last pair I purchased several years back that were causing my ankles to bleed and I couldnt return them since the window had long past. I saw the Ghost 14 were running a good cyber Monday deal so I purchased them. But sadly those didnt work out as well. So it brought me to the Ariels. I couldnt be happier with the purchase decision. Im very picky when it comes to shoes since I over probate and have flat feet. These shoes are the most comfortable Ive owned and well worth the money. I read previous reviews on them running small so I ordered half a size bigger and theyre perfect. Almost could have even went another 1/2 size up.

These shoes were a pleasant surprise. For a higher support shoe they are cute and not too chunky. More importantly they are supportive and comfortable. I am an avid gym goer so theyre perfect for the gym. I also love them for work. I am in healthcare so I am on my feet all day.

The shoe itself is great. I have been wearing Ariels for 15 yrs. I am looking for alternatives. Given the price and the colors offered year after year, these are the ugliest shoes on the market. Please make some stylish changes.

I used to wear the Ghost, but lately I noticed that my feet would start to pronate after running a few miles. Just lazy strides or me getting old, I guess. My knees hurt; my hips hurt. I thought Id have to stop running. I looked everywhere for a shoe that provided more stability. I even tried other brands and Ive been a die hard Brooks fan since the military. I happened on the Ariel by chance online and I ordered them. I must have been desperate because Ive always tried on my shoes before buying and these things are expensive. Im all about taking care of my feet and getting good gear, but the price for these shoes is scary. Anyway, got them pretty quickly and the shoes look great out of the box. I got the grey/green ones and the color doesnt quite match the pictures, but I honestly like it better. My sizing was spot on. I wear a 8. There were no flaws in the inner stitching to rub and the cushioning is pretty awesome. I thought maybe there was a mistake and this was a walking shoe, but my first run was a game changer. No pain during or after and it hasnt come back. Great cushion, stability control is awesome and theyre light weight. Definitely not waterproof, but most of my runners arent. I tried them at work where I stand 10 hours a day and theyre great there too. Now I have to order another pair for running. The only flaw Ive found so far besides the price is the traction. On uneven paths and trails Ive never had any issues, but I have felt some slippage on the pavement when its wet and definitely the snow even when walking. Great shoe. Worth the money for me.

Overall a decent Brooks shoe. I think the price point is a little on the high side, though.

Love the shoe, just wish the price was not so high. I would love to own a second pair to trade out wearing this pair all the time. Foot support is great and Brooks is one of the few running shoes that makes the width I need. I did notice the sole slippery on some surfaces.

These are the only ones that keep me running aligned and injury-free. I was devastated during Covid when they pulled them -probably supply chain related. I had to try various stability shoes from other brands during then and nothing compares. So glad theyre back -please dont ever discontinue! I pronate on one foot and the Ariel keeps that heel in check. Worth the cash every single time. I went a half size up from my regular show size. Only ask is they make them in edgier colors; Im not my mom power-walking!

Im a 71 year old active woman, but not a runner and walk everyday. Flat, wide, 10-1/2 size feet started giving me problems a few years ago and my doctor recommended Brooks. She was right! The Ariel has the best support and coupled with Sole inserts, Ive got happy feet for an average of 6+ months of almost daily wear. A little pricey for me, but its the best option. Wish there were more color options for that size.

Why the old Ariel has been changed. My foot specialist recommended those. I loved the old ones they were perfect for my feet. I walk more than 20,000 steps everyday. I have bunions and plantar fasciitis. I loved brooks but now I cant find the perfect shoes from brooks.

My feet are complex to fit. I usually take the insoles out and put my own arch supports for flat feet in. Even with my modifications, the shoes corrected my stride, which took getting used to. Thats why I bought directly from brooks in case I just couldnt make them work. So far I have adjusted well and my feet are pretty happy.
