I bought these shoes for my wife she loves them and said the fit and comfort is great. The only thing I would add is the price does not represent a very good value and is almost out of reach for us. I hope they wear well over time and that takes away some of the negative value comments I offered.
I'd also recommend:

Im not a runner anymore, but Ive recently had a knee replacement. I was a die hard ASICS fan but their quality started slipping. I then tried Hoka. They are comfortable but again, the quality of the construction was not what I wanted. My husband suggested Brookes because the wore the Beasts for years in the military and is very satisfied. I love them! They are well constructed and comfortable! The stability of these shoes are phenomenal!

I am a walker, not a runner, bu the Brooks Ariel is the best fitting shoe I have found to accommodate a plethora of foot issues I have. That said, this pair is narrower in the toe box than the many previous pair of Ariel I've ordered. It is pinching where the others have not. The trend with all goods seems to be leaning toward a smaller version of the same size. I hope that Brooks looks into this. I would hate to have to change to another brand. Thank you.

I prefer last year's dark gray color. I didn't really care for the lighter color on this shoe. The green color was better this year than last year. The fit is good!

Sizing up half a size from 10D, which is my usual size to 10.5D was the correct thing. Returning because: Although I found them to be very comfortable, I did not find them to be stable enough. Less expensive Brooks brands have more stability.

I tried these after many years w/the Adrenalines bc the Adrenalines Sizing became smaller in '22. These also showed up too small in the size I wore for years. Both models were smaller than my Adrenalines from '21. Unfortunately, these were too big in the next size bc they have a ton of support that I need! I wound up with Addiction 15 in the next size & they were the exact same size as my Adrenalines from '21! So if they fit, I recommend these Ariel 20's for the support & quality.

I dont run but I am on my feet all day and I walk a lot. I now have 2 pair of the Ariel 20 and find that I no longer want to wear any other shoes. I wore them in Guanajato,Mexico on the gnarliest cobblestones and my feet were fine. They are super padded so I had to order up a half size. They are also perfect for folks who pronate. They are very stylish and look really good with many everyday outfits. Happy feet!!!

I love these shoes. I wear them from when I wake up to when I go to bed. Theyve been a part of my uniform for at least 10 years. We walked about 120 miles in Europe this summer and these shoes sustained me through the trip. I love having the black ones. They go with everything.

I have been wearing Brooks Adrenaline for many years. I have had surgery for PTTD on both feet and need very supportive shoes. I decided to give Ariel 20 a try and I couldnt be happier. They are stable and comfortable to wear all day.

I have purchased Ariels for several years. No better shoe!! I walk/run on the treadmill every day and never experience any problems with my feet. I'm 78 years old and it means a lot to walk pain free! Great support and ample room in the toe. Also, Brooks customer service is outstanding! Why would you buy shoes anywhere else?

I bought these because I was having pain in the ball of my foot and thought the extra padding would help. BIG mistake. The pain with these shoes is excruciating. Ill stick with my ghosts.

Got size 9 medium, my usual in sneakers. They fit perfectly. Im not a runner, I got these for my daily walks. Im an overpronator with flat feet. I previously had the GTS 16 which were good but these are more supportive. I love the cushion level as well as how they cradle my ankle. Very happy with them.

The aerial 20 has good arch support and comfortable cushioning. It has a roomy toe box. I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars because it is measurably shorter than the other Brooks styles that I have worn. I am sending my new pair back to get a larger size.

I had a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS so this was an adjustment toward a more cushioned shoe. But, I am overweight and pounding pavement, so I found them a lot more comfortable and stable. I have a wide, pronating foot and these just feel like running on clouds. I'm not an advanced runner, just a jogger really, so I can't comment on performance capabilities. All I can say is that my feet are pretty comfortable. I've been using them for about two weeks. I have noticed a small ache in the ball of my left foot toward the end of my runs but I don't know if I can blame the shoe for that, or maybe it is just an adjustment thing that will resolve with time. But overall I am happy with this purchase and will probably purchase the same model when I replace these. I think they would be great for beginners, especially heavier runners who need to build conditioning with lots of easy runs.

Brooks shoes are the BEST shoes on the market! Ive owned several of their shoes, but I would have to say the Ariel 20 is the most comfortable of the models Ive purchased from them. I use them during my workouts with weight training and on a treadmill for brisk walking/running on a flat plane and going up steep inclines. Stupidly, Ive tried other brands of shoes just for variety, but they always caused intense ankle/foot pain. I now know that Brooks are the only shoes that I can use because of the exceptional stability they offer to allow me to workout without pain. I would highly recommend the Ariel 20 if you have stability issues with your ankle/foot or if you supinate/pronate when you walk. My only complaint is that they dont have enough colors. Im older so Im not interested in the different patterns that shoes have these days, but offering the shoe in more than just a couple colors would be nice.

I like these shoes so much that this is the second pair that Ive purchased. Before I switched to these Brooks shoes, I had a lot of foot pain after walking a couple of miles. That all disappeared when I went to the Ariel 20. These shoes are comfortable, supportive, and long-wearing. I highly recommend them.

Cushion support under the balls of my feet helps prevent extra impact on knees. This is my fourth pair of these. I alternate daily and order replacements when the wear is noticeable. Love the shoes!!!!!
