Most comfortable shoes I?ve ever owned. In fact, it?s a shoes that encourages me to walk because it?s so comfortable - I enjoy my daily walks SO much more since I purchased Ariel 20. The support is outstanding and I experience no hip or knee pain with this shoe. A bit too pricy but worth it since I walk more and enjoy my walks. I bought an extra pair to have ready when my first pair wears out. Love love Ariel 20 - Brooks are the best shoes on the market right now. I?ve done my research.

These are replacements for my 18 Ariels. It seems the toe box is a little smaller but they still fit nicely. I am older (73) and don't run anymore but do walk a couple of miles each day and these are the only shoes I'll buy. They are durable and support my ankles.

I am very difficult to fit. My feet are very wide, which means that I usually have to order a longer than optimal size. That was true in this case, but the extra length was not as noticeable as in many shoes. Brooks makes excellent shoes that work well for problem feet. If they came up with 4E versions, they would be even better.

These were snug and didn't seem quiet as cushioned as my Ghost pair. I am training for a 5k - using a coach to 5k program. After a week and a half, became as comfortable as my Ghost pair. Think I was not used to the stabilization in them.

Perfect fit for my very wide foot complete with bunions and hammertoes! Brooks Ariel is the most comfortable shoe I can find and have been wearing them for many, many years. So happy I can find my size including extra wide 2E at Zappos and get them delivered right on time!

I had a bad brake a few years ago -
Trimalleolar ankle fracture - that left me with plates and screws.
Finding comfortable shoes with support has been a trying task.
I bought the Ariel's about a year ago and they were my everyday shoes. I was in a panic when I could not find another pair anywhere.
Thankfully they were still available online!!
