I am not impressed with the quality. I am a first time user and its been about two months since buying the beast 20. Already the insole is coming apart on the right shoe. I was not expecting this considering the price should equal good quality. Pure disappointment as I had high hopes for these shoes.

The Beast '20 are okay but they are not as comfortable as my Elevate '18's.

So, I've been a Beast Fan Since 2014 and have ordered them every two years. The Beast 18's were a remarkable shoe with great support. When I got the Beast 20's I was kind of disappointed, The support was not as expected. So I noticed that price incentive on the Beast 18's and I ordered another pair. I'll keep the 20's but only as a backup, not my everyday shoe.

Very comfortable. Light weight and has made power walking over 2 miles and 1-1 1/2 walks a pleasure and easier daily event.

They felt longer in length than other Brooks shoes of the same size. They are not as cushioned as I expected.

Shoes are shorter than last years and more snug in toe region. The back breaks down easily when sliding foot in shoe. Same stability, which is reason I bought my third pair. Bought online and can???t return for half size up.

Even though the size is *exactly* the same Glycerin20 shows that I love (12.5/2E) the toe box on the Beast20 is slightly shorter, the material harder and not as forgiving. Otherwise the shoes are comfortbal and I hope they break in over time.

Almost rolled my ankle several times. Even when I tighten the laces the upper material is to stretchy and can cause you to roll off the base. Hurt my ankle twice. Returning

These shoes fit great on my extra wide feet. The support and cushioning are pretty good. The problem is that I have two pairs of these and they form large creases on the leading edge of the toe box that push in and rub on my toes. This has happened to both pairs. I noticed a coworker the other day who had a pair and the same thing was happening to his. I cannot wear them very long due to this issue. Very saddened. Why can't you recreate the Beast '18?

This latest version of the "Beast" pales in comparison to past editions of the style. I have been wearing this model for many years. These I found them to be of a lowered quality than any I've had in the past.

Great fit, poor quality upper. I've had these about six weeks and wear them walking 4-8 miles per day and the fabric on the inside of the top of both shoes has already torn. Minimal wear and tear to break down already. Losing my faith in Brooks after heel counters broke on last pair after about 4 months. Best support and comfort in any running shoe which makes it so hard to rate it so low.

I've only worn these shoes for 3 weeks and they are already coming apart. I previously bought the exact same shoe from Brooks and was thrilled with them so for these to be failing already, its pretty disappointing.

This shoe is no good for me. The Beast used to have adequate support. I'm sorry you seemed to have changed it a few years ago, and it is still not what I bought it for over some decades.

This is my fourth Beast. I like the comfort and the large toe box of the shoe. However, I've been wearing the latest pair for two weeks now and there is still an annoying and loud squeak. I wear these shoes all of the time, so you can see why it is annoying. It doesn't seem to be a moisture problem. It does seem more like a structural issue.

It seems the less shoe fits properly the right shoe pinches on top of the big toe across the topOf the shoe

I recently ordered my 10th pair of Beasts. I wear them all day every day in the operating room. They're not the same as they used to be and I'm pondering trying something different. They used to be very supportive and stiff and hurt for a week until they were broken in and then were an excellent shoe for years until they finally wore out. This new design is soft and my feet want to slide forward no matter how tight they're laced, leaving my toes pushing the front of the shoe. The laces are about a foot too long also. Bottom line is these shoes are too cushy to be real motion control shoes

These fit great. I'm not a runner. Just use them as office/walk around shoes, but on both the left and the right the material separated from the sole of the shoe on the outside of the toe-box. Didn't rip just separated like the glue let go or something. Very disappointed given the rest of the shoe still looks brand new. Not ok for an $180 dollar shoe... I've owned over 5 pairs of brooks beasts and the others previous to this version were great.

Like others have expressed: disappointed Brooks destroyed the Beast after the ‘18 model. The former was one of their principle products; amazing shoe with substantial arch support, substantial and comfortable cushioning from toe to heel and particularly the Extended Progressive Diagonal Rollbar and heel counter that comfortably guided and protected from overpronation/instability. Quality materials and comfort that made jogs and distance walking effortless. The current edition lacks in every category and instantly felt stress on calves and metatarsals from lack of arch support, stability and cushion; padding almost non existent in the forefoot as though foot is going off a ledge - rough ride all around. Brooks isn’t the only company that seems to be cutting corners for the sake of the “new support” aka “gentle guide” theory. The reality is a poor product that doesn’t compare to the quality that Brooks used to represent. Running out of options and wish I knew where to look to come close to replacing the once great shoe!

I had high hopes for these and they honestly were the worst Brooks I've ran in. I ran once in them and returned!! Honestly felt like I was running with concrete blocks, absolutely no cushion at all. So bad, I tried Hokas and absolutely love the Arahi 6 !!!

I didn't have a lot of options at my size but the shoes have already developed a hole because they are too tight.
