Overall I am satisfied with the Beasts. Have put on that many miles yet but I like them. Have been using the Transcend 7 and I think I will go back to them.

Got this for my boyfriend as a gift and he loves it. He is extremely flat-footed and said they're very comfortable.

I have been wearing the Beast for over 20 years that's about forty pair. I am a big man and over over pronate and their design has helped me over the years, Thanks Brooks

Very comfortable shoe for my callous heels & well worth the price. I've been wearing the "Beast" for 5 years and I will be a lifetime buyer of this particular shoe.

I believe the overall quality of the shoe is decking with each new model introduction. Make me sad.

somewhat disappointed in this version. I've been getting the "beast" for several years, as they're best for helping my planar fascitis. But, the "beast 20" seems smaller than normal (i have a 11.5 wide)--the beast has always fits well, but this time it is a bit tight. Finally, it "squeeks" a lot when walking! Also, i've noted that all previous versions of the "beast" tend to end up with a big toe hole after a while...not sure how this one will prevail!

Very comfortable sneaker... Wish the front toe area had better outside reinforcement coverage and a little more reflective areas on it... Thanks

The comfort was as my podiatrist advertised. For three weeks! Post Achilles surgery rehab which consisted of walk and the right shoe collapsed on the outside. Pretty pricy product for three weeks of comfort. Hard to imagine ever trusting a shoe from Brooks again, when it couldn't do less than it advertised. Keeping my Podiatrist, not the broken shoe.

I have severe congenital pes planus (flat foot) on my left foot. I suffer from recurrent plantar fascitis in the left arch. The previous Beast model (2017) which my podiatrist at the time recommended had a shank (midsole) that overcorrected pronation and put pressure on my Plantar arch increasing inflammation and was essentially unwearable. I recently purchased the 2020 Beast and the midsole is a little more flexible allowing some pronation while controlling excessive pronation. I can wear the 2020 model 6-7 hours continuosly before my left plantar arch gets sore and uncomfotable. So definitely an inprovement over the 2017 Model but still the midsole could be a little more flexible. I find the Brooks Adrenaline 20' model to be more tolerable for longer wear periods.

The beast is the shoe I always buy due to my plantar fasciitis, flat feet & pronation. It's great for keeping my feet aligned & reduces pain. Unfortunately, the last 6-7 pair that I've bought had holes come in them around the collar. I hope the Beast '20 has corrected that defect!

I have had the Beast 14, 16, 18, and now the 20. The beast is the only shoe I can wear without my custom orthotics because they are so supportive (I have very flat wide feet). The 14 model has always been my favorite....until the BEAST 20 came out! I was hesitant about the lighter weight worrying they sacrificed support but honestly they are just as supportive if not more and very comfortable. The style is also vastly improved without the bulky look of older beast models. I liked them so much I bought a pair in both colors for the gym and every day wear. Thank you Brooks for making amazing products!!! Only thing that would be nice is if they made the Beast in more colors that were a little more stylish. This is the only shoe I wear so more options would be great.

I've worn the Beast for over 10 years and I appreciate the support of the shoe...I'm not a runner and need good support to my feet. In my opinion the Beast 20 is a lighter shoe and does not provide the base support of prior versions...may work for athlete's. Looking for a firmer base.

Lots of miles on the Beast 18, but the Beast 20 was a huge disappointment. Lacked the expected support and felt worn out straight out of the box.

I ordered a half size down as many suggested it was to snug. More streamlined than prior beast. Too soon to judge performance.

Three stars ... would have been five stars if Brooks would have carried over Black/Grey color scheme from Beast '18

Very disappointed in the Beast 20 durability. I have two pairs that I rotate. The grays were purchased about 6 months ago and the blacks about one month or so ago. I have not run on these shoes and only use them for walking and light jog on my treadmill. I never have worn them casually. As you can see the grays have significantly broke down on the inside rim and the blacks are already starting to fray. If I had seen the wear on the the grays I never would have purchased the blacks. I walk on the treadmill two days a week and rotate these shoes. I bike on the off days and do not use the the Beast. I've been a loyal Beast wearer since the mid 90s when I was a runner and was not disappointed, until now. I see from other reviews that I'm not the only one that has experienced this problem. I won't be buying another Brooks shoe until this design flaw has been resolved.
