I like the Beast 18's better. They are a bit stiffer and give me more support. The 20's are a bit lighter at the cost of support, IMO. I have need an EE and both shoes deliver a very comfortable fit. The 18's are still my go-to.

Decent shoe but not as fantastic as the Beast ?18. Also, why are color choices so limited?

I am a woman who has to order a man's shoe for size & width. The Brooks BEAST is a perfect fit for me & I have been wearing them for years, I wish Brooks made the BEAST in more colors and larger women's sizes.

It was a comfortable shoe but a little on the small size and didn't seem to have as much support as another shoe I tried.

Absolutely love the Beast. I have severe planter fasciitis and the Beast has been the only shoe that I can comfortably wear all day long.

I have exclusively purchased many pairs of Beasts for many years for their max support. I won't buy another shoe.

YOu need to have a true medium width. Everybody doesn’t have fat feet!

I first ordered this shoe in size 13 that I normally wear other Brooks models. They were too small. I returned the pair and ordered a size 14. These fit great. I don't run but walk aggressively and the shoe initially seemed to affect my stride. It seemed like my heel was striking the ground too soon. After a few walks this feeling went away and I find they are very comfortable to walk in. I am 70 years old and have joint issues: knees, hips and low back. These shoes seem to help, or at least do not aggravate these issues.

Very comfortable. Works great on my fallen arches. Really, really insipid but aspirational name though. "The Beast" shoud be called "The Old Guy."

Barley had them a month and there is a hole in the toe! These shoes cost too much money for this to happen. Have returned them. Very unhappy with the quality!

Got these for my BF he's 6ft, 230lbs and he says he likes these shoes so far. He's had them for about two weeks and sometimes wears them to work too. He said they took his foot pain away so I'm guessing they're good. Hope this helps

Best shoe for runners with over pronation. The pain relief in my knees after changing to the Beast 10 years ago has been drastic.

At 69 years old TV r Beast 20 is the very best walking/CrossFit/sport shoe I have ever owned. Have the 18 and 20 versions.

I've always had foot problems. Never the right size because my feet are wide but relatively short. Friend told me to check out brooks so I ordered a pair after finding out what size and width I need and all I can say is totally worth the money no more insane foot pain and I noticed even my back seems to not hurt after being active for 5 hours whereas before it'd be like 1 hour and my back would hurt.

I think you should go back to beast 18, they felt more supportive in my opinion, but hey the beast is the best on the market, great running and walking shoe, like walking on a cloud

It's okay but the Beast 16 is still the best Beast ever made. The '16 was well balanced throughout the shoe and the cushioning was far superior. the '20 is not as cushioned in the heal and the front of the shoe is not as smooth. The '20 is lighter and the top is of shoe is great so far - I'll see how it holds up..
