Most comfortable as hoe I have owned in many years!

Very Supportive and Comfortable. I walk everyday and these shoes keep my feet comfortable!!!!

2014 Beast was the absolute best. 2020 Beast is much lighter, still very comfortable and a little less ?Beastie?.

The Beast '20 is THE BEST Beast yet. It is the most stable and cushioned shoe I've ever had.

Unfortunately, I have to amend my very favorable review posted April 26, 2021. I really liked these shoes. At about 120 miles or so, I began developing a blister on the inside of my left heel. I thought this odd since I had never had this problem before. So I would just bandage up my heel before each run. Today, after my run I removed the laces and the inner liner to closely examine the shoe. It appears that the plastic cup that cradles my heel has broken leaving a well defined ridge where my heel makes contact. It probably wouldn't be noticeable in an every day shoe, but really becomes a problem on 5-6 mile daily runs. I started to contact Brooks about this, but since I already have about 150 miles in these shoes, and usually replace my shoes every 300-400 miles, I just let it go. For the time being, I taped a (don't laugh) panty liner inside the shoe, and will still bandage my heel to try and get another few miles out of them. However. I doubt that I will try another pair. Don't get me wrong, Brooks shoes are great. I'm just no longer a fan of Beast 20.

Although I appreciate the thoughtful change in making this latest Beast version lighter, the shoes have become less solid and more unstable. The "guardrails" do little, if anything, to add stability. Just a bad idea. The front part of the heel seems considerably thinner than older versions (I did a hands and feet comparison two older pairs). Also, the style of the shoe is extremely bland in comparison with past styles. Sadly, I've returned to wearing my old, worn-down Beast shoes in lieu of the new pair and will now shop for different brand. Goodbye Brooks.

I Like the style of the shoe, but other than that, I notice a significant difference in support between the 20s vs 18s. I deliberately buy Beast given its industry leading arch support. Unfortunately the support is noticeable and am back to buying custom orthotics. Which means, there is no point in buying Beast shoes. Just get the adrenaline. Brooks has Reverse engineered this model to the point of irrelevancy. Seems like they caved to the "heavy look" complaints from previous models.

I do not use them for running but for walking and every day life due to I have Plantar Fasciitis and have to wear Orthotics. The Brook Beast 20 are very comfortable, they give me good arch support, plenty of room in the toes and helps stabilize my balance. I have purchased two pairs so far and planning to buy a third pair in June.

These are fantastic shoes. They look great. I'm not a fan of black shoes, but the white soles make them look nice. They perform as expected; amazing!

Excellent shoe, purchase was for my son...he is very pleased with support and cushioning. He is 69 yrs old, 5 10 and 200lbs... Loves the Beast !

worst Beast I have purchased and this was my 6 or 7th Pair. My 19 were far superior. You failed this model 20. Really disappointed but will look elsewhere

They are great shoe. I have no heal pain. I just wish the toe box was bigger. Like the addition 14. But over all I'm very happy with these.

I've been wearing Beasts for several years now, these are just another good variant.

No longer a runner but I have worn Brooks "beast" shoes for several years. Great support and very comfortable.

Ok, so I'm not really a runner -- I'm old enough that my knees can't handle it anymore, but I do power walking at least 3 miles a day. The Beast '20 is absolutely the most comfortable shoe I've tried, and that includes my venerable (and VERY well used) Beast '16s. The fit is awesome, but I strongly recommend that you follow Brooks sizing advice & order 1/2 size larger than your normal size. I couldn't read the tag on my perfectly fitting 16s, so I guessed a 10. The shoe fit well, but toes are extremely close to the front of the toe box -- great for casual wearing, but not so good for exercise, so I ended up ordering a second pair 1/2 size bigger and they're perfect!
