Have always had the Beast. Best shoe with my width. Best shoe for diabetic feet. So comfortable.

I recently replaced these with the Adrenaline GTS. I may have ordered the wrong size. I liked the Beast, but Adrenaline feel better.

I have been wearing brooks beasts for 15+ years. I have had minor issues over the years but overall, I loved them. Every change I could get, I would recommend brooks to friends and family. Even after my permanent injury/surgery that left me unable to run, I continued to wear them. That all changed with this model. For some reason, somebody decided to place a flimsy piece of plastic (or something plastic like) in the toe area. The moment you stub your toe the plastic bends and becomes permanently indented. On the first shoe, (purchased in Feb) the plastic rested on my toe permanently, so I returned and purchased a larger shoe. Two weeks later, with the larger shoe the same issue happened. This is a design flaw!!! When I called Brooks to report the issue, I explained that I mostly use these at work (desk job) and to walk (2 miles a day). I was told that I was not wearing them for their designed purpose which is why they are indented. If the she cannot handle the conditions of sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day, I cannot imagine how they will hold up against running. Bottom line is these shoes feel great but overall they are worthless if a piece of plastic is resting on your toes all day.

These fit great. I'm not a runner. Just use them as office/walk around shoes, but on both the left and the right the material separated from the sole of the shoe on the outside of the toe-box. Didn't rip just separated like the glue let go or something. Very disappointed given the rest of the shoe still looks brand new. Not ok for an $180 dollar shoe... I've owned over 5 pairs of brooks beasts and the others previous to this version were great.

Like others have expressed: disappointed Brooks destroyed the Beast after the ‘18 model. The former was one of their principle products; amazing shoe with substantial arch support, substantial and comfortable cushioning from toe to heel and particularly the Extended Progressive Diagonal Rollbar and heel counter that comfortably guided and protected from overpronation/instability. Quality materials and comfort that made jogs and distance walking effortless. The current edition lacks in every category and instantly felt stress on calves and metatarsals from lack of arch support, stability and cushion; padding almost non existent in the forefoot as though foot is going off a ledge - rough ride all around. Brooks isn’t the only company that seems to be cutting corners for the sake of the “new support” aka “gentle guide” theory. The reality is a poor product that doesn’t compare to the quality that Brooks used to represent. Running out of options and wish I knew where to look to come close to replacing the once great shoe!

I have worn the Brooks Beast for many years. My running days are over (knees) but use them to walk everyday 1.5 hours daily. Because I have extreme pronation they are the best shoes I have ever used. I have used a lot. Perhaps not a "Walking Shoe" but if you have bad knees from years of running and severe pronation (and flat feet) highly recommend for walking as well as running.

Brooks Beast I have used for so many years. I am happy you have four colors to choose from. Super-fast delivery as I phone ordered on a Wednesday and it arrive four days later on a Sunday. I am so happy and pleased with how your company and your employees made my purchase an enjoyable one.

Beast is shoe I have ever worn. I have blue sports, whole life and go to gym six days a week. And these shoes are the only shoes I wear. No waiting for the beast 22s or 23s to come out.

Literally the only shoe that I like from Brooks. But it is never advertised to me. Brooks tries to get me to purchase nearly every other shoe they make ... except the ones that I've been buying since 2000.

I had high hopes for these and they honestly were the worst Brooks I've ran in. I ran once in them and returned!! Honestly felt like I was running with concrete blocks, absolutely no cushion at all. So bad, I tried Hokas and absolutely love the Arahi 6 !!!

Easily the most comfortable shoe I've run! Perfect fit with the wide sizing option too - I will plan to order my shoes in the future instead of accepting the normal width shoes that are usually available in stores. The website allowed me to compare a variety of models. Delivery was quick and inexpensive.

Probably a good shoe if it fits right, but the back heel support pushes the foot forward making the shoe fit smaller. Nice quality, bad fit. Other than that it's a nice shoe. Looks fantastic.

I have been a brooks customer for the last ten years. But the shoes have changed and do not provide the support they once did. The beast was a supportive walking shoe and provided support for the knees and back. The tongue had extra padded support, the collar surrounding the back near the Achilles was padded for support and today the beast doesn't give that support. The ball of the foot section of the shoe used to provide a sushi in bed to protect the toes, today they do not. I truly believe Brooks has made this a running shoe because if feels nothing like a strong walking and supporting shoe.
The same goes for the addiction!! I guess Brooks doesn't make shoes for seniors are those with problem feet. I will not spend my money on your shoes anymore.
I bought the beast 20 returned it and tried the Addiction2 and I'm returning it as well.
When Brooks can make a shoe that has cushion like the HOKA bondi8 shoe I will consider buying it!!

I use custom orthotics and usually purchase the Adrenalins, but the past 2 pair just wore out in 4 months so I switched to the Beast The Beast is is not as comfortable as the Adrenalins, but, I think I finally have them broken in. Time will Tell!
