I was recommended this pair by a podiatrist at first they felt comfy but after a couple of days the heels of my feet hurt after a few hours of wearing.

I recently ordered my 10th pair of Beasts. I wear them all day every day in the operating room. They?re not the same as they used to be and I?m pondering trying something different. They used to be very supportive and stiff and hurt for a week until they were broken in and then were an excellent shoe for years until they finally wore out. This new design is soft and my feet want to slide forward no matter how tight they?re laced, leaving my toes pushing the front of the shoe. The laces are about a foot too long also. Bottom line is these shoes are too cushy to be real motion control shoes

I was really surprised - outstanding shoe! I had orthotics I was goin to use - don't need them - shoe provides amazing support; To give you an idea of the severity of my flat feet - my left foot's arch is completely collapsed - the right is moderate.
I've walked for about 1.5 hours on one day - no pain anywhere. No foot pain - nothing. And I could of continued walking, had more energy after wearing these. Now standing around for long periods does provide some discomfort - but generally speaking - remarkable shoes.

I thought this was the black and red shoe, so please make it more clear please. I have come to appreciate this color shoe more!! It fits my feet well; though I have custom made orthotics in my shoes. The excellent support makes this my favorite! It's my forth pair!! Why do shoe companies eventually get rid of shoes like these!?

I'm more of a walker now, but these Beasts are great. They have saved my feet during miles & miles of walking while traveling the UK and now Germany while on vacation.

Very comfortable for walking. Extra space inside shoes allows to add Spenco or Dr. Scholls insole inserts for additional comfort if needed.

Shoes are very comfortable. I am a big man I need that comfort and stability. I over pronate and I am flat footed these give me everything I need to get through the work day.

As an extra-wide foot geezer with developing neuropathy, I tried this shoe which is outside my comfort zone. The fit was snug and my choice of 11.5 turned out too short. I was in this for the support and breathability, which was outstanding, but the length and tightness of the 4E width didn't address my neuropathic need. It's a great shoe but not for wide feet like mine. Perhaps a 6E option would be better, if ever available, and I would certainly entertain Brooks in the future if those came available on shoes with max support. I certainly appreciate your policy of testing them out first.

Best most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Only problem is the top mesh over the toes is wearing out within 2-3 months. I don't mind the price but expect more life out of them.

I didn't like Beast '20 as well as Adrenaline GTS. I only wear Extra Wide (4E) shoes so my toes can spread, and I experience fewer blisters that way. I walk 6 miles/day, 7 days a week at 4 miles/hour. Even with a wide toe box and excellent cushion, I use HikeGoo or Body Glide Foot glide anti blister balm before I go out. I also am aware of keeping my shoe laces tight at the top to eliminate any front to back motion. I've been doing this routine for 6 months, and due to the low impact of walking, I don't have to take any time off because of injury. I have tried just about every brand out there, and for me, Brooks work best.

I love this shoe. I have worn it almost every day since I bought it. I have severe spinal stenosis and my mobility is compromised but I can still walk and I use a recumbent bike. I needed a nicely padded shoe with good grip and feel. The Beast 20 hits the mark. The shoe has improved my balance and is terrific on my stationery bike. Additionally, I need a shoe which is easy to put on. This shoe does not have the typically raised heel entry. The shoe is therefore easy to slip on and lace up. Overall it is sturdy but feels comfortable and stable.

I like black shoes, these are not all black and the white bottoms look like a geek so I will pass on my favorite shoes again this year.

I have been using the Brooks running shoe for quite some time, I think it was in the late '70's that I bought my pair. WHY BROOKS.?? At the time the Brooks was introduced with a wide Toe Box, and Lots of Cushion for the heel. I have been using the "Beast" series for awhile now. You changed the shoe from a "Monster Shoe" to the 20 series. I liked the previous shoe better. The current Beast is Ok, But not as cushioned as the last shoes in that line. Lesser of two evils.

Great shoe. I am not a runner anymore, due to arthritis. The shoe is perfect because it provides great support and stability, comes in wide size for my orthotics, and provides good cushion for my knees, feet, and hips.

I've been running in Brooks Beast for at least 20 years, over 40 pairs, and they've always been great for overpronation and motion control which I really need. I never had any issues or injuries at all, ever! I tried these for a few months at 16 miles per week and really wanted to love them, however the latest 2020 version are nothing like the previous versions and they are the worst running shoes I've ever owned! They do not provide the support and motion control that they once did, they feel flimsy, and the toe box is snug. During and after every run I have nothing but stiff legs, knee joint pain and back pain, so much so that I had to stop using them and basically toss them out. Absolutely nothing else has changed in my exercise running routine except for these shoes. I am now a former Brooks and Brooks Beast customer and will never ever buy the Beast or any other Brooks shoe again! I would give them 1/2 star if it was allowed.
