We purchased these based on a friend recommendation for my husbands plantar issues. They were great for a few wears and we were hopeful, but it didn't last long. We added some memory foam inserts and now he can wear them pain free for a few hours. Wish I had listened to the other review that said they aren't what they used to be. It was a big investment for "meh" results.

This is my second pair. I have pronation and have struggled with ankle pain. I wore NB for years but I always had to use inserts with limited success. The Beast 20 fit right out of the box with no inserts and nearly eliminated my ankle pain. Thank you Maggie!

This is the sixth pair of "Beasts" that I have owned. I'm a Registered Nurse, and walk 4-7 miles a day. My only request is new brighter colors.

great shoe perfect fit for me

Very solid shoe. Sung fit, and it relaxes after some wear to a good fit. This is good because top of the front was a bit too snug, but got better over time. Good looking and solid. Would buy it again.

Great running or walking shoe

Bought these for my husband. 10.5 EEE He loved them!!! He has wide feet and planters faculties. He says he can walk in these all day. I love they way they look on him. Great purchase!

New shoes of my husbands and they are dry-rotting away at top of shoe. Now in 2 places. Pet-free home.

Very comfy ... just, please, make them in white!

First time trying Brooks, and they are great! Very comfortable and supportive shoes so far.

nice and light with full support

Highly recommended by my orthopedic surgeon after too many surgeries. With these shoes and orthotics I have no pain.

I am a physical therapist and wear these in clinic. They are the most comfortable daily-use shoes for my wide, flat feet (15 EE) and allow me to be on my feet for 10+ hours when working with patients. Durability has never been an issue. Highly recommend.

Super nice and stable shoe. Feels great on your feet and the fit is perfect. Highly recommend for walking. I'm not a runner.

The top edge around the ankle tends to wear a lot faster than the rest of the shoe.

Love the heel cushion and support.

Comfortable but not as comfortable as my Ghost 14 and 15 shoes which feels like it has more cushion at the heel. Definitely better construction than my older Adrenaline GTS that split apart at the heal seam.

Great shoes hate the colors. Get rid of the white soles

Running in the Beast 20 felt like it provided the support I needed for my pronated feet. I don't feel like I have to use my over the counter orthotics when running with the Beast 20. One drawback is that it felt heavier than the Adrenaline 22.

I recently ordered my 10th pair of Beasts. I wear them all day every day in the operating room. They're not the same as they used to be and I'm pondering trying something different. They used to be very supportive and stiff and hurt for a week until they were broken in and then were an excellent shoe for years until they finally wore out. This new design is soft and my feet want to slide forward no matter how tight they're laced, leaving my toes pushing the front of the shoe. The laces are about a foot too long also. Bottom line is these shoes are too cushy to be real motion control shoes
