I've worn these shoes for YEARS, but reviewers are correct when they say there is no longer any arch support, and indeed the shoelaces, while they LOOK like past ones with the silver threading, really feel thin and wimpy. It's going to be time to find another shoe with some arch support.

The fit of this shoe was just off. It wasn't comfortable at all. Too little padding, toe bed too narrow ... it just didn't work for my feet.

I have worn this same shoe for several years, replacing them every six months, as walk about 12 miles a week. This particular shoe is higher in the back of the heel, causing a blister every time I wear them. (It is obvious when I compare my older shoe to the new one.) Another reviewer mentioned this same problem so actually wore the shoe in the house for an hour or so. It seemed okay at that time. This shoe will be going to the consignment shop. Either the pattern for the 411 shoe has been changed or there is poor quality control. I will be changing brands.

OK. These were a disappointment for me. They were tight in width. I probably could have make adjustments in lacing to mitigate that if they had been comfortable otherwise but they were stiff and felt very awkward to walk in. I commented to my husband when walking around the house that they reminded me of what it would feel like to have wooden clogs or bricks on your feet... Enough said. Returned them.

I have not purchased New Balance in quite sometime because the last pair I bought lasted a long time. This pair is awful. I walk every morning and after the second day of thinking they've got to get better I developed a blister from improper fit and poor workmanship. I wish I could return them but I know it is too late. I just will never purchase New Balance again.

I have a difficult time finding shoes to fit my size 4.5-5 feet but this size 5 fit well enough keep. Unfortunately these are definitely more cheaply made than previous New Balance that I have purchased.

Way to wide for a Narrow shoe and the laces are the absolute worse, back it went.

I ordered a 12N and they were just too wide and they did not fell very supportive or cushy either so back they went.

I have always ordered new balance size 8 N for 20 years . This shoe was so short in the toe box it damaged my big toenail so bad and it hasnt healed yet . It is hard to find a AA as my foot has always been very slim from a 5A to now a 2A so was disappointed when i ordered my size to have the toe box shrink allot . Same shoe i ordered last time but this shoe was way too small.

Incorrect item

I always order wide, but these were narrow. They didn't have the feel as other shoes do, they were stiff and the sole was hard.

Wrong size sent

NO STARS. Very disappointed that shoes were not really narrow. PLEASE NOTE: although the inside of these shoes said N, both the outside of box and the tag on the shoe said WIDE.

The shoes received have a bungee tie that can't be adjusted, they're NOT lace up. I also suspect they aren't New Balance brand (no logo imprint). Am returning.

They were comfy until I had to walk very far in them. I ended up giving them away they hurt my feet.

I've returned them. I have a lot of trouble finding sneakers that fit. I have bunions which make a wide shoe necessary. I have two old pairs of Saucony Pro-Grids 8 1/2 W that fit perfectly. But now they're unavailable anywhere. So I'm stuck.

What a surprise. I have the same sneaker in white which fits okay, but may be too big. This black sneaker was so tight that I I could barely fit my foot into the sneaker.

I own NB 411v2 shoes size 7-1/2 D, and they fit fine. This NB411's 7-1/2 D was way too short and too narrow; I was barely able to get my foot into it. Sadly, I'll be returning them.

Returned because of fit. Disappointed as I have the same sneaker but this pair ran small.

Ordered 10 1/2 narrow. My usual size in New Balance. Too short and too wide. Gave the shoes to my sister who wears 9 1/2 medium. They fit her.
