I am so thankful I found these shoes in a 12AA as I had been looking for 12AA shoes in this brand and it seams they have discontinued there line of narrow shoe sizes. Asics were my go to brand for years. New balance also makes a 12 AA but they always are a bit too wide. I did not want a black shoe and I really wish they would offer a different color in my size, but I guess beggars can't be choosy. They are very comfy and fit my narrow foot!
I'd also recommend:

These ran too short...I always wear an 11 N, and they were 1/2 to a whole size too short. While it was narrow enough throughout the toe and mid foot, the heel was too wide, and slipped, even when tied with the extra hole option. As the shoe was too short, but the heel still slipped a lot..I am not going to try an 11.5 N as the heel would be even worse. Too bad..very cushy, nice looking shoes. No other options for Narrow Pronating Foot . Help!

I, like many long-time ASICS wearers have been struggling with fit issues. I have worn an 8.5 Standard (M) width for many years and have had a superb fit. For the past several years, I have experienced sizing inconsistencies even within the same size and style. I followed the advice of many Zappos customers and ordered these a half size up. They are a bit too long and wider than my previous GT 2000s in the forefront of the shoe but the heel fit and arch are correct. I now have two Asics insoles in the shoes to take up the extra length and width. They are ok for the elliptical and the gym but won’t work for outdoor running or walking on streets and trails. I have way too much sliding and movement of my feet to wear them for long mileage runs or walks. I have spoken directly with ASICS Customer Service regarding the inconsistent fit issues and the inappropriate shoe last they are using to design their shoes. Their response has been that they are changing the uppers so the fit is different. They are happy to make returns but it can take up to three months to receive a credit. Thank goodness for Zappos excellent customer service. I will continue to shop ASICS but will have to rely on Zappos return policy to make sure that the fit is correct.

I’m not sure what ASICS has done to the GT 2000. I have worn this model for many years and loved them, but the last two pairs I bought are stiff and feel cheap. They made literal holes in my heals, despite wearing Thorlo socks with them. It’s like the inside has no cushion or lining so speak of. When the first pair tore up my feet, I thought maybe I just got a defective pair, but after wearing the replacements, I believe something has changed in how they are made. Looks like I need to find a new go-to running shoe:(

I’ve never written a negative review for anything before. I have run in GT 1000’s for the good majority of the last decade now, and fiiiinally gave in to all the great things I’ve heard about the 2000’s. The first 2 runs were so great! They seemed way comfier and more supportive (maybe just a tad too snug in the heel), just like I had read. But then during a workout that consisted of simple things like lunges, BOTH toe boxes broke and are now caved in. For this price I was expecting much more durability, especially since it happened during a basic workout after having them for all of a week.

Beautiful Shoe. Fits Perfectly. My favorite thing about them is the stability that I feel when wearing them. I tried the on cement floors for 10+ hours of straight and continuous movement and they felt great. The fit was like a glove, true to size and Light weight for a shoe with such support. Already looking for the next pair.

As someone who over-pronates (and who, admittedly, may be a bit clumsy), I was constantly twisting out an ankle on walks and hikes when wearing my sneakers, so I decided to search Zappos for Trail Shoes/Sneakers. Ordered several pairs but these Asics were the best by far! They offer the stability I need and the extra support to compensate for my over-pronation. They are my first Asics and fit snugger width-wise than most of my other brands (NB, Nike, UnderArmour) but it works for me because I have a narrower-than-medium foot. I definitely preferred the "look" of some of the other brands I ordered to try, but pretty is as pretty does. I'm very happy with my purchase. And as always, Zappos couldn't be more user-friendly!

Love them! So comfy! A little stiff but that’s to be expected with a new pair of asics! Fit true to size. Just the right amount of arch support for my over pronation . Love the colors!

Fits true to size, did 3 miles on the first day of wear with no problems. Continues to fit great. Great color as does not show dust from gravel roads.

They shoes are great. I ran in ASICS for years and had moved away from them. But started running again and after trying and failing with other brands these were the just what I needed and expected. Perfect for my workouts. Lighter than most other shoes with great stability control and that is what I was looking for in a shoe.

It should be noted that ASICS changed their sizes in the last ~5 years. I had to order a half size larger than my last pair of running sneakers (2014).

The only running shoe that doesn't hurt my joints is the GT-2000 line. They're comfortable and feel good while I'm out doing my mileage.

I was very happy with these shoes as they fit perfectly. I have narrow feet and people with narrow feet struggle to find any shoes that fit. I don’t know what shoe companies expect us to wear on our feet, as we are indeed an endangered species. I even like the color (black/gold). In fact, I was so pleased I bought another pair!

I buy a new pair of the Asics GT 2000s each year because they are the best ive ever worn. The Asics GT 2000 8 is the best fitting model I've had so far. I am an overprotnater and these help to correct that. I wear a 7B in reg shoes but I have always bought an 8D in running shoes to give me plenty of toe room and they fit perfect with no slippage at all. The color & style in pink quartz is great. The best part for me is the amount of cushioning in the heel. After 2 years with so much pain from plantars fascists my heels are very happy in these shoes. My only complaint is that Asics doesn't offer enough variety of colors in the wide widths.

I have an older version of these shoes but needed a refresh and went with the black and rose gold. SO classy. I knew to order a size up and so glad I did. The fit is the same as my other pair (which were also a size up from my regular 8). I love that this version is much lighter than the older version but still the Asics quality and support I love.

I have ankles that like to twist and sprain. These shoes are wonderful - giving me star art footing even on a hike up a mountain trail in the black hills. Love them!!! Would definitely order again !!!

Fit and size are perfect. Asics has not disappointed in the 15+ years I have been loyal to them!
Only complaint I have is the limited color selection for wide width. I would love to have more than 1 or 2 options to choose from!

Another winner from ASICS. My last pair was black so this time I went for the most colorful pair I could find. They feel great and I would buy them again. I have no arches in my feet and I overpronate but I also log a lot of miles walking my dog so I need supportive shoes. I love these!

I bought these in Rose (the purplish color) and they look amazing. I wore Asics 2000 for years, and they carried me through many 10k's and half marathons. When not training, I walk/jog a light amount ~15 miles per week. I skipped the 7th generation Asics 2000 based on the poor reviews online. During that time, I bought Mizunos instead and liked them OK. When I saw that the 8th generation of the 2000 was getting great reviews on Zappos, I decided to try them again and am so glad that I did. They look and feel great and are priced very competitively. I am overweight and running shoes generally last me ~200 miles as opposed to the recommended ~300 miles so I appreciate a less expensive pair. (I would not recommend the Asics 1000: even less expensive than the 2000 version, but do not wear nearly as well- great weekend shoes but not for walking/jogging on a regular basis).
