These shoes are very comfortable, fit properly, are easy to walk in over varied terrain. The gel cushioning and side cushioning are excellent. The foot-bed is properly positioned for the neutral version. Really, really nice shoes.

These trail shoes are one of the most comfortable running shoes I have from Asics. They are soft yet very stable. The sole has excellent traction. And the shoe looks good as a casual shoe. I recommend this shoe for those who are looking for good support.

I LOOOOVE ALL my ASICS GT-2000's!!! I have 6 pairs and I wear a pair every day! MOST COMFORTABLE shows I have EVER worn! I will not buy another brand...EVER!!!

this is my 2nd pair of GT-2000 trails and my 4th pair of GT-2000's overall. I tried the Kayano-26's (2 pair), and they didn't last nearly as long. The 8's have improved the cushioning and still have great support and last. definitely will be sticking with the GT-2000...

Great support and very balanced for my wide foot. Lightweight but plenty of cushioning for hiking or trail running. Not a street running shoe but the support and firm last would make it a very comfortable casual shoe.

Solid trail runners - light and durable. I recently purchased a new pair of GT-2000 Trail 6s (because I'm a cheap-skate), which started out great, but the glue on the grippy rubber pads started dis-adhering (un-adhering?) after only a couple weeks of use. I asked the customer service team if they could swap out the 6s and, instead, they sent me a new pair of GT-2000 8s. Unprecedented service. Thanks, Team!

Great shoes
I am an over pronater and normally wear insoles in all my shoes. These allow me to wear them out of the box. Comfy and look great.

Amazing shoe! I'm a flat-footed pronator and this looked like a good option, it's worked out very well so far and helped maintain running form on trail terrain.

After owning the first GT2000 trail for many years, I couldn’t get comfortable in the version 5, 6 or 7. This one feels like asics have gone back to what worked before, and this shoe has that perfect mix of mild stability, cushion, and low to ground feel that I like about asics shoes. I also feel the shoe does truly perform in a trail setting where other shoes might be too sloppy or over cushioned to maintain confidence over uneven terrain and hills. The toe box is also nice and roomy for my foot in this version and i think the upper has been improved comfort wise. I’ve tried many trail shoes and trail runners and this is the best I’ve found.

New to trail running. This shoe provides good stability and cushioning on rocky trails and confidence on loose gravel roads. Small and medium sized rocks just seem to disappear. I would not hesitate to use this as a road running shoe too. I find the shoe very comfortable as long as I keep moving but not particularly well-suited for standing still for long periods of time.
