The shoes just didn’t fit. They were too wide and too long. I am returning them.

Purchased size based on size recommendations and shoe was at least one size too big. Now have to send back and lose out on discount. Kinda disappointed.

These birks fit like flip flops, and any advantage of the comfy cork sole was not felt as they flip flopped with each step. First time I've met a pair of birks I defintely would not recommend!

I've had many pairs of Birkenstock sandals (all in the Arizona style) and wanted to try a new style. All Birkenstocks have a break-in period where some blisters are normal, but this particular style was nightmarishly uncomfortable. I have normal-width, average feet, and I've never had much trouble with blisters from sandals after the initial break-in period. I was expecting a break-in period with these so I wore these with heavy socks on short walks to start. I got terrible blisters on the tops of my feet even when these were worn loose with big socks. It isn't that the leather straps are too stiff, it's the way the shoe itself is designed. Where the two straps meet in the middle, it cuts into your foot even when worn loosely. I'm so, so sad that I can't even return these because I tried so hard to break them in for months so they aren't in perfect condition anymore. Seriously regretting not just getting another pair of the Birkenstock Arizonas.
