just not comfortable to me

I have to admit, these were not nearly as comfortable as I expected.

Did not fit me well

I sent these back because the straps were too far forward and I couldn’t keep them on my feet when I first tried them on and walked across my livingroom. Liked the look of them very much.

Really pretty but the straps don't hold your foot in, I tried hard to like them but i couldn't walk in them, so i have to return them.

I’ve been wanting a pair of birkenstocks and I really wanted to love them but I didn’t. They were a little too big and I didn’t find them comfortable at all so I returned.

I did not like the feel, I felt like the sandals were going to fall off. It felt like a flip flop but not comfortable. I like the style but it was not for me. I sent back.

Not narrow enough. With the straps properly adjusted, there was still a gap between my foot and the upper strap on the inside of the foot. The strap placement was not sufficient for effective arch support for a truly narrow foot.

I’m a 7.5-8 and ordered an 8-8.5 because the alternative was 7-7.5 which is too tight and small for my feet. The 8 is too large and I have blisters on the top of my feet from trying to keep them on. Not sure what size to get anymore as I love the style of the shoe but I’m not trying to order a size too small.

My first pair of Birkenstock’s...and most likely my last. I love the way they look and the fit was generous..probably a half size longer ....but the arch hurt my foot. I’m still trying to get use to them...but not sure if they will ever break in. I love than they are not clunky like the Arizonas. I’m not a very tall person...so I tend to go for clothes and shoes that are more petite. I like the color. Just wish they felt better.

Although these were comfortable, they felt more like slippers and not sandals so this was not the feel i was looking for so they were returned

Super comfortable and more feminine than most Berks. I ordered a size smaller then I normally wear because they run large. The color is more like grey bleh vs mocha. sending back and waiting for the black ones to come in.

I bought this in a narrow. I have an extremely narrow foot and did not have to punch new holes to get this to fit! However, I do not like the white footbed and these will probably be going back. Too bad.

These were recommended by my podiatrist. However, they hurt my feet. I have bursitis in the ball of my foot. The foot bed for me is uncomfortable and the strap hurts the same area, but on top. The manufacturer tells you you have to break them in for a few weeks. I listen to them and now can't return the uncomfortable shoes.

The fit is off. It cuts the widest part of my feet. Too bad.

The toe "grab" was much too far forward.

First of all the arch was in the wrong place for my arch. This is my first pair of birkenstocks ever: I always hesitated to buy some because of the price~Now I know why! (also because of the stigma they have of being unfeminine) I bought mine at HSN, I am after comfort & they are supposed to be the best and most comfortable sandals you can buy...NOT!~these were the most uncomfortable sandals I've ever worn, I put them on once for 1/2 a day & ended up with blisters and sore feet-ouch~and then tried them with a pair of socks for the 2nd (and last) time thinking maybe I'd have to break them in? After a full day=more painful blisters and you guessed it sore feet! I just cannot justify spending $100+ for a pair of flip flops I have to "break-in"! Wth! Maybe I bought the wrong style? IDK, I have many friends that swear by them...maybe these ugly sandals just aren't for me...

This shoe is comfortable, but the style is a little too old ladyish for me. I will try a different style.

I'd forgotten just how uncomfortable Birkenstocks can be until you get them broken in. In this case, the sandals were too wide for my feet even with the straps on the tightest hole, so there was no question of breaking them in. I wish I'd seen the customer question about width before I ordered.

Overall the buckles are in the wrong place for my foot. They rub in that area

I’m so disappointed. I’ve owned Birkenstock’s for over 30 years and I have never had soles break down this fast. I have owned these for 4 months and the sole is already worn completely down. I don’t wear these anymore than any other pair of Birks. Super poor quality. Super disappointed in quality. I have even had Birks re-soled but after many years of owning them! Four months is a joke!!
