Nice bag, same size as my two Maxpedition packs. I got the Mystery Ranch thinking it was bigger, but it wasn't. I should have gotten the 3 day.

Really like the space, organization and of the harness is extremely comfortable. But when I transferred all my things to this from my Mystery Ranch 2-day EDC pack (which allegedly has the same dimensions as this bag, and zip it all up, the front where the tri-zips meet collapses into the bag in a really unattractive manner. For comparison, the black bag is the 2 day EDC, and the camo bag is the 2 DAP. I mean, is it supposed to do that?

This is an awesome pack for the money, it has the Y-zipper that Mystery Ranch is known for and the build quality is excellent. My only two complaints are these: 1. It does not come with a padded waist strap 2. It does not come with strap keepers built into the pack This used to be normal, sure, but nowadays even lower end packs have these two features, and it feels like cheaping out to lack them on a pack like this, especially from such a highly renowned brand as Mystery Ranch.

Happy with the pack however was disappointed to see the tag on it made in Vietnam, when purchasing thought it was a USA made pack. That's why not 5 stars

I'll start by saying I like this bag a lot and it's really well made as you'd expect from MR. That being said, this bag is missing two key features. First, they need to make an update to include a true hip belt. The one that comes with it is absolutely worthless. This bag has enough space where it can get heavy enough to justify a proper hip belt. Second, there needs to be a hole to run a hydration bladder. A bag of this size should come standard with both of the missing features I mentioned. It doesn't make sense for someone to load this is for a day hike and have the bag moving around because it lacks a proper hip belt. All of these features would make the pack more versatile and allow you to transition from EDC to a hiking day pack. I'd recommend the bag if you only want to travel back and forth to work or in the airport, but look elsewhere if you want a smaller day pack for hikes.
