I really felt this boot runs about 1/2 size too small and I also ended up with a wide and that’s not usually the case. The boot is supportive without being uncomfortable. no break in period and ready to do work out of the box.

Wanted to like the shoe but the ankle part kept rubbing on my skin and made it sore after just one day of ware.

Fit very well. I have a narrow foot perfect for VANS. A foot with a second toe longer than the big toe, a wider foot, may not be as comfortable.

The boots fit well and were comfortable. The soles have a little lift in them. Performance on black ice was a it lacking. I will be saving these for summer use and I got another pair of boots with Ceramic content in the sale, much better.

It's okay my toes just rub the front because of my extremely flat and wide feet. If your feet are 100% flat and wide buy the keen Pittsburgh. Spend the money for quality. I'm returning to get my third pair of those.

This boot fits like a glove on my left foot. On the right foot there is excess material covering the composite toe that is discomforting. I bought a second pair to see if the right foot would fit any better and the composite toe had less material covering it thus, I could feel the composite toe edge dig into the top of my foot. There was also too much material on the tongue causing a tighter fit. Looking at the reviews they are true, these boots often get past QC with defects, so if you can afford to buy two pairs, I would do so, try to find the best two out of the four and send the other two back. Like another reviewer states, these are not meant for standing in one place 10 hours a day. You will need additional or better insoles if you work in Amazon’s sortation center on the slide sort.

Fits very well. Personally I went up 1 size for extra space because I wanted to wear thicker socks. Thin socks I added my inserts into the boot and it still fit well. Definitely recommend!!!

I’m a loyal Thorogood boot wearer. I have several pairs of work boots, both steel toe and non. I got these through the Amazon shoe program and had high hopes for them. They are comfortable, but not for 10 hours on your feet. They’re good for 4-5 hours and then I have to change out my boots. I ordered wide and my toes are still pretty cramped. I won’t be wearing these to work anymore, but they’ll be great as hiking boots. Also, I find the zippers to be lacking. One zips as it should, the other is more trouble than it’s worth.

Wanted so much to love this boot but just couldn't get a good fit. I normally wear Keens and this boot was much tighter than those. I even tried going to a wide after "D" wouldn't even fit my foot through the neck of boot. When I did get the wide, it appeared to be too wide in the foot as when laced and zipped my ankles must have been to small and boot didn't flex right. It bunched up and shifted all the way to top of boot instead of just bending at toe.

I am a carpenter and I wear these in wet weather. They keep my feet dry and are warmer and more comfortable than my moc toe thorogoods. I have been wearing them off and on for about 4 months now and they are holding up well. Perfect for my usage.

The cut was too big. It's loose on my foot, but seems to be a great boot. I just can't get the full experience because this was the closest to my size and not exactly my size. I was limited on options for 12W size on approved boots for my employer. 12W always seems very limited.

Have brown Thorogood 6" Crosstrex regular lace up composite toe boots that are my favorite boots for working on our property, logging and splitting wood and even good hiking. Super comfortable and relatively light. I got the black zip-up version thinking they would be great for getting in and out if the boots better, but the zip-up opening doesn't open that wide so it takes significant effort to slip them on. There is also more material around the zipper which seems like a potential comfort problem. Additionally, the composite toes on this pair were low on top and rubbed on my toes - that was the final deal-breaker. Love the brown regular laceups so I'll keep working on wearing them out.

The boot itself was fine. The size was perfect. The construction was good. However, I use my feet quite a lot during work and I tore them up on the front within the first three months. Perhaps not the route for me.

Very impressed with how lightweight these are but they got some issues like the tongue, there is so much material if they're laced up, two folds of fabric hits the front of my ankle at the bend with each step but at least my toes don't jam forward with each step like sneakers but i have to wear long thick socks or the rough material/edges around the ankle can scrape.

Felt a bit snug, and thought it just meant they needed some “breaking in”. After two weeks of walking .. some 10-12 hour shifts later, the feeling didn’t go away. The most that happened is some seams began to give away. Meanwhile, the discomfort of a small toe covering could not be ignored. It’s composite toe ends where my smallest toe sits, which caused unholy blistering. Will never get these again.. if you have narrow feet, these may be great. Wide-foot beware.

Right zipper sticks badly, almost impossible to unzip with foot in shoe, which kinda ruins the whole idea of the zipper. The toe reinforcement also squeezes/jams the second toe on my right foot, and I'd already gotten a half size bigger to avoid this problem. Left shoe is correct size and zipper works well. They're a bit stiffer than expected, but I like the looks, and I suspect they'd loosen up after a bit of wear.

Came one size larger than my true size. I love the ankle support idea but this shoe was ridiculously too high and felt uncomfortable.
