I originally purchased a 39 which is the size I order in Danskos and Birkenstocks. The heel was too tight, my tires were rot up against the top of the shoe, and I had a hard time zipping it closed. I returned them and ordered a size 40 and they fit perfect!

I love these shoes. They were comfortable out of the box. They are stylish and I have had many compliments. I’m thinking about purchasing another pair in a different color.

This is my second pair of these shoes. Loved the first pr so much I wanted a replacement. My first pr was in black suede and shows dirt/wear at the toe easily so opted for the black leather this time. I need arch support and lots of cushion (wear brooks adrenaline running shoes) and these are almost as good as those for long walks and travel. I do add the slim ortholite insert on top of the ecco insert to give just a little extra arch support. These are the only shoes I wear for travel. Long airport walks are no big deal. Walked miles each day in these shoes in Europe last summer and again in Dublin- 5 miles a day at least. Love that they look like a regular shoe but are as comfortable as a tennis shoe. I'll keep buying them if you keep making them!

I wanted this shoe to work - I've been trying to find everyday casual, comfortable shoes for several months. The shoe fit well, but there wasn't enough cushioning in the ball of the foot. Sadly, have to return. Grateful for Zappos prompt service and easy returns.

The black/dark shadow is a very nice color, sort of a charcoal gray with a bit of a sheen. I also have the black in this style, as these shoes fit my slightly narrow feet especially well, although I believe they would also fit a medium foot well. They are not snug in the heel, but I find this to be true in all the boot/bootie styles. A good, comfortable, attractive shoe.

This is my second ECCO Soft 7 shoe. They are extremely well made and comfortable. The bootie is a snug fit but it stretches a bit with wear.

As other reviewers noted, this is not the shoe for you if you have a high instep. It was difficult to get on, even with very thin socks, and was tight to zip up. I usually wear a 9.5 or 10, and a 41 in anything worn with socks, though that tends to be a little on the large side. Overall, I wished the shoe would come up a little higher on the ankle, so I wouldn’t bother ordering a different size.

I really like these shoes. They are comfortable and supportive. They also look nice. I am a bit concerned about the zipper on one of them. It gets caught sometimes.

Very comfortable but this shoe is not leather lined on the interior which was a big disappointment.

Oh, I am so unhappy I have to return these shoes! They were very cute (which is saying something for a size 43) and without socks they were very comfortable. I love the fig color, which is a little sparkly in the sunlight. But alas, with socks on I could not even zip them up, and for a pair of booties, that's a no-go. I wear between an 11 and a 12 or between 41 and 43. I wish they came in 44, which I have never even seen.

I normally wear a 7.5-8, so sizing was a little challenging. I ordered these in 7-7.5 and the length was good, but they were too narrow for my slightly wide feet. Otherwise, very comfortable.

I am an ECCO fan. I wanted to love these shoes, but didn’t. They should name the color bronze, which it is. I already have a pair of Ecco casual tie shoes in the same color. Also, the lining is fabric, not leather, which pulls in my socks with walking. Lastly, the heel is too loose and heel slides up and down while walking. Will return ?

ECCO seems to be reducing the size of the toe box. Really affects the way the shoe/boot/bootie fits and the comfort of the foot. After trying multiple styles this season, looking at other brands.

These are my new favorite shoes. They were comfortable right out of the box, and I have worn them every day since I got them. I did size up since my usual size wasn't available. I think they most likely run true to size, but the larger size, while roomy, is working fine for me. I walk about 4 miles a day with my dog and have to have good arch support to stave off plantar fasciitis. These have provided the arch support I need and haven't caused any rubs or blisters. I like the look too. Very pleased with the purchase.

These shoes are so amazingly comfy! I have high arches and prefer wider toe boxes in my shoes. These check all the boxes! May need the red too. I will say the black does look a touch blue , but I’m still keeping them. Love Ecco products !!!

I took the shoes right out of the box and was able to wear them all day with no breaking in needed. They are very comfortable! I do put my orthotic inside of them.

Not as shiny as they appear in the photo, which is good for me. I like the heel detail

I like this bootie right out of the box. Put it on in the house and then stepped outside...it’s great!! Middle of October and we got a big snow in MN!! Nice to have something that can easily slip on and be comfortable and a bit of protection. Not sure how it will be for longer walks, but was really pleased at how the toe-box felt on my feet. Nice to have something on my feet that makes me want to continue walking!! (All too often closed-toe shoes will feel uncomfortable after a summer of sandals!!) Glad I ordered these, and the neutral color is great—not shiny and a really nice soft cocoa color.

I must say that my toe comes to the end of the bootie but I know that is what happened with the Clarks shoe I bought last fall from you. the arch might not be quite right since it is medium (I guess) I am just being honest of what is on my foot. I am very pleased at what I do have , in fact I felt so good about the booties Ecco) that I bought another pair just like them except color. Thank all of you who helped put this altogether for me. I am quite excited that I was gifted the shoes from my sisters. Katie
