I am heartbroken with the way Cobb Hill has evolved in the past few years. They were thw only brand I wore. Now they look frumpy and the steel shank causes my feet to hurt so much I can't wear them anymore.

While the wide width is perfect, would return these for a half size smaller if I wanted to try them again, as the length is too long. The reason I won't replace them, however, is that I expected the strap closure to be sturdy snaps instead of velcro, which feels like it will not hold my foot securely enough for any amount of walking. I walk quickly and for a shoe with a heel, I won't feel confident that they will hold my foot with enough stability; too wiggly. As for the colour, I will agree with other reviewers that it is not "navy" but grey.

From the picture online, I thought these shoes would be maroon. They are not. They are light pinkish red. I returned them.

Does not fit. Too tight around top of foot. Beautiful shoe but the fit is off. For the size it is way too tight over the instep. Very uncomfortable

I returned the shoes, because they didn't match, one shoe had a loner toe that the other plus looked wider on the foot. Also when I received them the plastic stretcher was not in the shoe which leads me to believe they were returned before, probably for same reason.
