Please help with Danner sizing! My street shoe size is a 9. In Merrell I wear a 10. I checked the advice and I ordered the Plum in 9 and the Cactus in 9.5. They are exactly the same length. The 9 was too narrow across the ball area of my foot, and my feet are narrow so I thought. The 9.5 is comfortable. So is the only difference in half sizes the width? If that is the case, it would be nice to have that information! Now I would really like to compare the 9.5 and the 10.
To agree with other reviewers, the shoe that fits DOES make a crinkly noise. I don't know if this will go away with time or not.
