Ive had these for about a month now for use in December MN weather and love them. Im a faithful Danner customer of 10 years for work boots. This is my first recreational pair of Danners. The zip closure is super handy. They are still a bit snug to pull on but not terrible. They are fairly warm, very comfortable, have good traction, and keep my feet dry in the snow. What more can I ask for?

Boots are very comfortable. You can tell theyre a step above in quality compared to many other options. Zipper works great.

Very comfortable warm boot. Almost no break-in was required. The cushioning in the boot is fantastic. The "Arctic Grip" sole is good - better than most on icy surfaces but on glare ice they aren't perfect. I was able to walk across glare ice more easily than with conventional soles but when you come across a "surprise" patch of ice you can still slip. Having said that; I am having a pair of my Danner work boots re-soled with "Arctic Grip soles. The Side-Zip doesn't work well for me. I still end up lacing the boots.

I own several pairs of Danner boots. These do not disappoint. They are warm, comfortable, and stylish.

Out of the box perfect fit! wear nicely, look good, feel good. not sure what the side zipper's purpose is, i don't use it at all. Only one issue that i see, if you're going to put speed laces on you should have a 'catch' system that holds the lace when snapped into place. the loose eyelet on the speed system is no bueno. however, that is a small detail that i have grown used to.

Secure fit, 10 wide/EE. Zipper on the side makes on/off easier than with a shoehorn. Heed warning that the grippy, grit embedded soul can scuff or cause abrasions on some floor surfaces. Used a dozen times so far, good feel, Light and no break in issues. Used in icy NW last week.

Unfortunately the side zip doesn't make entry into boot because of my instep. But for with laces is great.

Great winter boot. The fit is excellent. The side zip doesnt work well unfortunately. You have to use the laces, but thats not a major issue for me. Id definitely buy them again

These boots work great for walking/hiking in cold weather. I have been walking 3 miles a day in temperatures below zero here in Alaska for the past few days and my feet are staying warm. The soles work well except on cold dry ice. The side zip is pretty much useless because you cant get in or out when they are laced up with the side zip alone. The boots are easy to get on and off without using the side zip. Other than that the boots are great.

Better insulation than expected I used in a recent hunting trip to Croatia and temperatures where 30-32 F Snowing Walking over snow was like walking on normal conditions Did not get water inside either

Been a great boot at temps down to -5f. Many miles in deep snow and my feet have stayed warm and dry. Good fit an comfort

Great fit true to size. I love the zipper as I can adjust my laces and use the zipper to put the boots on and take them off. The arctic grip sole is great and the insulation feature keeps my feet warm. I have done several snow hikes and these boots are the best Ive ever had for Colorado winters!

These boots are absolutely the most comfortable hiking boots I have ever owned. They are warm on near zero temperatures and provide great traction in the snow and on ice!

Its another quality Danner Boot. That about sums it up.

Got these about a month ago, and my goodness, they are such good boots. Extremely warm, well-made, and I live the simplicity of not having to tie the laces each time I put them on (zipper). I am a Danner fan for life.

Awesome boots! I live in Vermont, where we have snow and ice six months of the year. These boots are absolutely perfect. Comfortable, warm, waterproof, great sole grip on the ice - everything you want in a snow boot.

Arctic is a stretch. Boots are very cold. Might as well have no insulation.
