I returned these for the Recurve 400gm. The zipper on these made the shaft feel floppy and didn't seem to add anything good. Sizing seems to be true to sneaker size if you wear thick socks. Otherwise they seem like decent boots and I know the arctic grip sole is great for winter walking.

Comfortable, sturdy and reliable. And it looks great!

Feel great. Warm, easy to get on and off. I highly recommend.

Comfortable, walks well and warm. My only complaint is that the zipper isn't really that useful. Sounded like a good idea, but when I lace the boots up tight like I like them, I can't get out by unzipping and have to untie the laces. Quick release sounded good, but it doesn't work for me.

Mind blown. I've been through so many pairs of hiking boots. All weather, summer, winter, etc. I'm a customer for life. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

Light warm easy on and off.get a Pair, you wont regret it!

I bought these because they were insulated and had the side zip. I find that even with the side zipper I still need to lace them to get them on. The insulation seems minimal to me and the Danner work book that I love and have used for years does a better job.

A home run for someone with wide picky feet. No break in, immediately comfortable , amazingly warm. These are the best winter boots I have ever worn. Note that I bought one size larger than I normally wear to make room for thick winter socks.

Great boot - comfortable. I was looking for something to use during the freeze/thaw ice on my daily dog walks. These have been perfect, good traction on the ice and warm.

So far very warm and comfortable. Does not appear to let in any coldness even after walking around on ice and snow all day. They even seen to be pretty slip resistant which is great.

The boots fit great out of the box. They look well made. Wearing them around indoors on the carpet, the interior part of the zipper hit my ankle with each step. These did not work for me so I returned them. If it were not for the zipper, I would have kept them.

Took several boots to a hunting trip in New Mexico, while I had several to choose depending on the weather, I decided to take my Danner Artic 600 and after seveal days in the snow and harsh terrain I was convinced that these were the only pair I would wear throughout the the hunt. Love Danner!

This is a great winter ice traction boot. Have observed many others slipping nearby, while these maintained traction. Extremely comfortable for all day use. Two suggestions: 1.) The zipper is a not needed once the boots are broken in. 2.) Replaced the Laces immediately with TOFL 108" Leather laces form Amazon. These allow easy lace up, two wraps around the top, and a far better overall look.

Comfortable, warm and good traction in most conditions. The side zip makes for easy on and off. One tiny knock, the zipper gusset took a few days to soften and lay flat, but is now unnoticeable to me. I will be buying another pair.
