Awesome boot. Was concerned with the look but after wearing it I realized this is a serious boot. Awesome quality, great fit, and handles terrain quite well. Highly recommend. I only wish it came in all black.

My husband says it is the best Danner boot he has owned. Size and fit is true to other brands.

So far, so good. Got me through my first Buffalo winter warm and dry! Ive gone through 4 or 5 of the Danner Jag boots over the past 10 years, but I needed a taller, true snow boot now that I live in Buffalo. These ones are great, and they are surprisingly a LOT more comfortable than the Jag boot. Better cushion and better fit for me than the Jag, which seems to run small.

Overall happy with these boots! The weight to warmth ratio was fine for me, and how I was using the boots. General walking around, in/out of the car. Yet to push them on big winter hikes, but pretty sure will do well. The size I ended up going with was the same as my Danner Vertigos, so keep that in-mind when thinking about size if you already own a pair Danner's. I did get a bigger size to try, so I could wear THICK socks. Overall didn't feel as nice. The side zipper turned out to not be that useful for me. If I keep the boot fully laced, I could squeeze my foot out.. but not possible to get back in - def not "slip in/out" boots.

I would love to have this without insulation

Super comfortable. Warm but breathe well. Far exceeded expectations.

Great shoes

Hello. I like the boots - they do fit tight which is expected with the insulation. My only issue is the zipper broke leaving the boots unusable after a few months.

Very comfortable in both fit and walking. Only time will determine if this boot deserves a 5th star.

Really great boots. Immediately went on an outdoor weekend for 3 nights. Tons of snow, tons of mud and water, super cold. Boots were perfect. Hope I have them forever.

My first pair of Danners. Most comfortable boot Ive owned. Ended up wearing them everywhere and learned they generate heat whether I need them to or not. Had to go one size larger than I normally wear. No issues returning for a larger size. Thought the zipper may have been too tight at first, when pulling them on, but theyre really not. I wear thinner socks. Definitely looking at more Danners in my near future. Just the best boot ever.

I'm not sure about all of the reviews saying they've worn them in super cold temps. They are no warmer than non-insulated boots. If I wear them with normal socks the top of my feet around the toes feel like there is almost no insulation. The fit and traction are great. They are serviceable in the cold if I'm wearing super thick socks.

I had an issue with my pair not being waterproof and my feet were wet for an entire work trip in 20 degree weather.

These are built great , fit great, great comfort and great looking boots!! Great job Danner!!

Excellent insulated hiking boots! Very light and comfortable.

I am currently in Northern Finland and my Danner boots have exceeded expectations! They are warm and comfortable as I wear them for 12 hrs + daily in the heavy snow here and my feet feel great at days end. Thanks Danner!

Warm, light, great for walking in all sorts of messy weather. And I do like the side zipper for easy on/off. Great boot!

My husband really loves them. Very comfortable on first wear. The side zipper makes getting them off much easier, but it doesn't go down far enough to make slipping them on easy. Still better than trying up laces every time!

Great boots no break in time at all

I have a very high arch so have been looking for heavy duty zippered boots for farm work for several years. My daughter is a climber and got these for me. Great fit, very easy on/off. They were comfortable by the third day I used them. Highly recommend. One problem is that zipper broke on the third wearing. It was harder than I expected to get a replacement from Danner for what was a clear defect. But eventually have a new pair for only cost of return shipping; all is good.
