Beautiful but had to return because they were to small. Buy a size larger.

I would wear it for an everyday outfit, to go skiing or for outdoors activities when it is cold

You can tell these are well made. For me, it was a little more than I needed. But if you have some serious weather, these are a good option.

Overall the boots are comfy and sturdy however when I tried them out, it feels narrow for my feet. I have to return unfortunately as the size is a bit small for. Do size up for better fit especially if you plan to wear thicker socks.

I used this on our Colorado trip, the snow was thick and I felt warm on my feet! And I am from Texas who is not used to the cold! Highly recommended!

I bought a pair of Shellista II with the leather upper and sweater top, but right at the one year mark the rubber split from the leather. I sent them in and NorthFace gave me a gift card for a new pair of boots, so I went with the Shellista III (because the Shellista II is discontinued). They have the same comfort as the II, but the felt confuses me. On the very first trip out in the snow it got all packed with snow and ice and pulled up fuzz from the felt making the boots look mangy. They still work fine of course, but now that mud season is here I am hesitant to wear them in the mud/ slush because I'm not sure how to clean the felt, whereas the leather I just wiped with a cloth in the past. So...they are super comfortable, warm, sort of good looking (but not as much as the Shellista II were), but the felt gets a thumbs down from me.

Based on prior reviews, purchased one size up which was a perfect fit. They are comfy, sturdy, & stylish. Extra laces in different color choices was an unexpected bonus.

Overall, would recommend these for a winter boot. My feet being dry and warm definitely outweighs the cons of the boots being too heavy.

These boots are cute & stlish. They run on the small side making it harder lacing to the top if you halve thicker calves, if not lace up, the side lace grommets would catch on each other during movement. With the extreme Feb. cold in 2021, they did good keeping my toes warm as long as I was wearing winter socks,

These are very warm! Been wearing them in -20 weather and feet didn't get cold. Went hiking in the snow for several hours and feet stayed dry. Very comfortable, no need to break them in. They are tight, size up 1 size. Would buy again!

I started winter hiking this year (low level) and was looking for a boot that was warm and not too heavy. This boot has done the job!

The boot seemed great. I was trying to make a size fit outside of my usual because they were sold out of my size. So it likely runs true to size. It was quite warm wearing around the house!

I wondered if these boots would look more purple than gray. They are definitely a purplish gray, and I’m glad. While the fit is great, I have to give them a 4 instead of 5. I can wear them on a long walk, but cannot wear them all day.

These boots are nice looking and warm. I have to say that in my opinion you need to order at least 1/2 size larger. The toe box is also a little cramped.

I needed good, warm and tall boots that could stand up to our canadian -30 winters and that i could play in the snow with my kids. It hasnt reached -30 yet so i cant review that but these boots are really comfortable. They are however narrow in the toes. Im normally a size 9 but had to size up for my toes not to be squished. They seem very durable and are so far, waterproof. I will come back and edit my review if i need to. But so far im in love.

The only reason I am leaving a review on this boot is because it RUNS SMALL and is narrow. I normally wear a 10 1/2 in most shoes-my feet run on the wide side. I ordered a size 11 and had trouble squeezing my foot into these even with no socks!!! I would recommend these but only if you are able to order 2 sizes larger than you normally wear.
