As others have said, if I repurchase I would need an additional 1.5 sizes. I am an 8.5, I got a 9. It was tight in the toes. I could use another half or whole size up.

These seem like a great boot. I was afraid they would be too tall for my liking, but they hit just above the bottom of my calf muscle. I like the look and they seem like they'll keep my feet warm, can't wait to try them this winter! I had to size up though. I wear an 8.5 in women's shoes, and they were tight in the toes. Size 9 fit great, and I should be able to wear a nice winter sock with them as well if need be.

Bought a size 10.5 for my daughter who normally wears a 10. She said they felt small & that the top of the toe bed was pushing in/down on her toes. So I tried them on - I'm a size 9 & 10.5 fit me well. Unfortunately, she's the one who needs boots so they're getting returned.

Casual wear

These are great boots but they run a bit small

Planned to wear for trip to Alaska end of November and ordered a half-size bigger but it was still too small. The previous reviews about running small were not posted when I placed my order or I would have ordered one full-size bigger. I returned them today and just placed another order. However, in order to receive them before my flight now I have to pay for overnight shipping ($25). A couple of weeks ago I ordered the Shellista IV Tall and they run small too and felt too constricting on my calfs (I'm 5'6", 148 lbs) so I ordered these mid-sized boots. They feel comfortable but can only wear thin socks and have no wiggle room in the toe area and that's uncomfortable for me.

beautiful boots but as others have said - too small! i am a typical 8 and went with a 9... which feels like an 8. order up! haven't tested them in the winter weather but am very happy with how they look and feel at this point. would recommend.

These are my second north face boots. Very sturdy with a stylish look. It could be a little wider in the front to accommodate wider feet. If it's freezing out there, these are your boots.

With winter wool socks, these boots run a half size to one size small. You will have to unlace them all the way and tug hard to get them on. So you will need those straps.

I was disappointed the boots were tight in the toe area and I had to return them. I wear a 6-1/2 and that is what I ordered. Size 7 wasn't available....

Boots seemed warm. They ended up being too small. I forgot about the size up in boots deal. The boots came with both the gray and red laces to change them out if needed.

These boots are warm and cozy and waterproof. They are super to keep your feet dry and toasty. They are surprisingly easy to put on, which is lovely. Only problem is that they are too tight. I am a standard 10 in almost every shoe. With a pair of socks on in these boots, it was uncomfortable, and who wears boots without socks? Not me! Needed to go up 1/2 a size at least.

After reading reviews, I ordered 1.5 sizes up. Of course, they were way too large and I had to return them and my correct size (half size up) was out of stock.

Overall an excellent boot but shortcomings with sizing. Wife bought, online, what she thought was her size (even sized up based on what we read in reviews) and when the boots came, they were way to small; ultimately had to size up two sizes. Looks like this is a common theme. Customer support was awesome but did have to ultimately return to the store which we wanted to avoid with the pandemic.

Feels good but my socks got wet

Fine in snow but not good on ice. Not very warm. Ok for moderate temps.

Very narrow and I have narrow feet.

Just had mine delivered today. I ordered my normal size but they are too small and tight. They appear warm though. I ordered the gray pair and they don't look grey at all. Disappointed.

I loved the look of these boots and wanted a pair for years, and when I finally bought them. And even sized up to wear wool socks with them, they are too small with thin socks. So disappointed.
