Although the boots look cute on the picture, they are really cheaply made. I bought them for my mom after reading reviews online and got really disappointed with the quality. They don't look as winter boots at all. They are perfect for warm (fall/spring) weather, but the real winter. I returned them after all.

Returned the boots for refund. Color did not excite me

I brought these boots as I was preparing for winter camping/hiking in the mountains. Boots seem to work a bare up the cold find so long as I was active. Once I was not active the tips of my toes were cold. We were camping in about 12-18 inches of snow on a mountain and there was much work required in the whole trip. I probably would have kept these boots but when I came home from the getaway I found out that these boots had only a year warranty and not a lifetime as most north face products. The reason I ended up deciding to return them is because on the 2nd day of being on the mountain I notice that the front rubber sole began to separate from the shoe leaving my feet open to the cold and wet conditions. I am not sure if this is just these particular boots but it's not worth me spending the money on a boot that can't last 2 days in snow conditions.

Not worth the money in my opinion. They run small for size and the fit is a bit weird. They fit snug on my feet but are very loose on my ankles so I get a weird bit of bunching when I walk. They also don't have a coating on them and I don't feel like they would keep my feet dry for an extended period of time

I must let you know that the Shellista III mid boots are absolutely NOT waterproof. It's very disappointing because I've been wearing my sons' boots he outgrew for several years and finally bought myself a new pair. The first day I got them it was snowing here in Alaska; I took a walk in them on a packed trail and my feet got quite wet despite the fact it was 10 degrees out. The snow seems to stick to the wool and melt. Yesterday I wore them to the frozen beach at low tide, had to walk through about 6 inches of snow and then walked on top of wet sand but not through deep puddles and my feet got even more wet than the plain snow walk. I am not rich and cannot afford to waste money on bad products so I bought North Face because I had a pair of snow pants that stayed waterproof for 20 years from the North Face. I am so bummed. There was no other way to see if they were waterproof besides wearing them outside. Before purchase I thought the wool part near the rubber was suede and that they would be waterproof and the product description says they're waterproof. Is there something I can put on the wool and seams to make them waterproof? They are comfortable and relatively warm when they're dry. This is very disappointing; I really looked forward to a quality North Face product. I guess things have changed in your company.

Love the height of the boot and great for walking / hiking but if you do any standing (ice fishing) your toes will be frozen.

Nice looking boot but they don't have any ankle support. My ankles poke out on the sides and look funny. Won't buy them again.

I loved everything about this boot....extremely comfortable, the colors were perfect, I could wear them over jeans or under snow pants. Unfortunately, after an hour outside, my toes were frozen. I didn't even wear them in deep snow as was my intended use for them. I tried a second time with different socks in case that was the issue. I was bummed when I had to return them....still searching for the perfect waterproof snow boot.

I purchased the shoe for a snow hike but had to return it as size was too small for me. I am a constant 7.5 so ordered a 8 amd that didn't fit well

The synthetic material that makes up the toes will crack and fall off. Not returnable after 1 year. Don't buy these.

Feels like too cheap quality!!! Should improve quality as soon as possible and improve returns policies. Coz if customers don't like it , you should be able to accept it back!

Loved the style of these boots. I noticed there are only a couple reviews that match mine. My toes froze in these boots. I was outside for a farmers market for 4 hours. No snow, just 13 degrees and got up to 35 degrees. By the end of the day my toes were numb. I'd worn 2 pairs of socks as well. Super cute but I wont be able to wear them this winter. Can't imagine how cold they would be in the snow.

With these boots it's almost like you walk with your bare feet on the ice. They are not warm even in -1. Absolutely waist of your money.

They are super comfortable but they aren't waterproof! I wore them in the snow last week and ended up with wet, cold feet. I tried wearing them in the snow once more today and my feet were wet and cold within 10 minutes. Maybe I got a defective pair but they are the worst, yet most expensive, snow boots I have ever bought.
