I ordered my usual size in Birks but since this is a heel and closed toe, it felt too small. When I put them on and tried to walk around the house, they didn't give me a good range of motion for stepping. I sent them back. Might order a size up to see if that fixes it.

Love the idea and design of these wedges. I wear Birkenstock sandals and mules most of the time. However, the cork wedge on these were gaping at the toe; i.e. not glued entirely to the leather upper, with a similar situation in the heel. It looked like the cork was maybe cut too large for the leather upper. I've since returned this first pair and ordered another pair in hopes that the workmanship will be better and more satisfactory, like the other Birkenstock footwear I have. I will need to punch a couple more holes in the straps to fit my slimmer ankles. My feet are regular width and on the bonier/athletic side, so there is some space between the leather upper and the top of my foot. These will probably be great for wintertime with tights too! Looking forward to a new pair.

The 39 was too small and the 40 too big. These shoes are beautiful but I needed a half size.

I wanted to like these but just not attractive on my foot (at all). I love the wedge but these don't have the Birkenstock arch support. I am ordering the Papillo sandal instead of these closed-toe shoes.

These are NOT narrow shoes.

My strap has broken off twice. I want them replaced. Other than that, i love these shoes.

Great shoes, perfect color, material and comfort. I prefer them with thin socks because they run a bit wide in the toe box.

These shoes are very nice and comfortable. I bought them to wear to a class reunion. I wore them most of the day and they were extremely comfortable and never once hurt my feet. Good arch support and true to size. Can be dressed up or worn with jeans. Nice

These are my absolute favorite Birkenstock shoes out of my collection! I wear these to work often and they are so comfortable all day long, plus I always get a lot of compliments on them!

bought one in brown and one in black. had to reorder the black due to one shoe was cut wrong. new par was perfect

Love these! I initially saw them on the feet of my best friend, so I asked if she minded if we were twins. :) Now that I have my own, I get compliments on them almost every time I wear them. They feel so comfortable and make my feet very happy.

My feet are very narrow. Very cute shoe, looks well made, but just too wide for me. They are probably average width.

So comfortable and stylish. I get lots of compliments on them. These aren’t cheap, but they are worth the price. I’d highly recommend them!

Super cute and comfortable. I usually wear an 8.5-9 so ordered my usual Birkenstock size which is the 8-8.5 for this shoe, but these were too small. Exchanged for the 9-9.5 which fit great.

I am shocked at how much I love these Birks! Got my regular size and they fit perfectly (so comfortable). I get compliments all of the time wearing them.

I normally wear a 10, but I’ve had to order the 9-9.5 (40) in Birkenstocks. This pair was no different. I thought I’d need to get my true size based on other reviews and ordered that one first, but it was too big. Also the pair they sent me seemed slightly used, it was strange. The new size came and looked brand new, so it worked out. Aside from that, they are super comfortable! I have wide feet and my feet do not feel cramped in these.

I got these for my new job as a teaching assistant in elementary school. So far I’m really pleased. Nice hight that hasn’t made my feet feel exhausted by the end of the day. I usually wear an 8.5 in boots & sneakers, but often need a 9 in flats to accommodate my on the wider side feet. I tried the 9/40 first because I thought that the narrower footbed Birkenstock uses for this style would necessitate it. They felt a bit big so I got the 8/39 which is my usual size in Birkenstock. They were perfect and felt plenty wide. Not at all the fit I expected for a “narrow” style.

The right shoe is a bit off but not enough to be uncomfortable. The strap on the right ankle is comfortable at notch 3 and the strap on the left is comfortable at notch 2.
