There were no reviews on these so I took a chance and purchased them in the same size as my Arizonas (37) but once the Buckleys arrived and I put them on, I found them extremely tight and did not think they would stretch enough to be comfortable. Going to try a 38 and hope they work.

I wanted to love these, they looked so cozy. Ordered 41 narrow (sized up). The arch support hit in the wrong place for my foot (too far forward). I have had Birkenstock sandals in narrow that were perfect, but in this case the footbed did not fit right in the narrow. The footbed also felt hard and uncomfortable, NOT cozy feeling at all. I wish they had the regular width in stock, which may have been better.

I have been having the hardest time sizing these Birks with the shearling. In the shearling Boston I had to go up a size, but in this one my normal size fit when I tried it on but I couldn’t find it in the color I wanted. Then one...one! pair in the right color and size came in stock and I pounced on it, only to find when it arrived that the right shoe was about a half size larger than the left (not the cork footbed, but the suede/shearling upper). I don’t mean it FELT larger. I mean that when held side by side the size difference was obvious to the naked eye. It’s, like, a bummer, man! But that’s why I love Zappos- returns are easy.

First time Birkenstock buyer and I am typically a size 9. I started with the Boston Shearling in 39 and thought they were a good fit but didn’t love the duck shape look. Next I tried these in a 39/Navy and a 40/Nude color. The 39 felt similar to Boston sizing. The 40 also fit and if you want something to feel roomy, I’d size up. I kept the 39/Navy because the color is more durable and I didn’t like the nude/white tread combo because it looked like an orthotic shoe.
These are super cozy and comfy. Love love love.

I, too, saw no review, but took a chance, as I knew that they would sell out fast.
I have been wearing shearling Bostons for years, and wanted something a bit more current.
the fit was a bit small inoverall lenght, but i am keeping them,as i know that they will matt down with wear.
The width and arch support are great, and the style is adorable.
They will definitely be my go to shoe this fall and winter.

I got the grey ones and liked the color. I like the style, too. The size 38 shoes fit my size 8 feet, with the arch support in the right place. I wear 38s in all Birkenstocks, even though they say I should be in 39s. And I need a wide toe box, but these were fine. I am returning them because I think suede with fur is not a good idea for someone like me who will rush impulsively outside on wet winter days, but you might like them!

Based on other reviews and because the only width available was “narrow”, I sized up to 39 (normally I am a 7.5 and would have gotten 38). The shearling can also make it seem snug, another reason I sized up. When I got them, I noticed there was still some room off the back but the arch placement was correct and the fit felt snug but not too tight (I know it will stretch a bit and the shearling will compress). So far have been very comfortable in these and my feet stay warm (but not too hot). For my first Birkenstock purchase, I’m happy with the fit.

Omg! These are the cutest! I have several pair of Birkenstock sandals and I have the shearling lined Boston, so I knew what quality I was ordering. These are so comfortable. No break in required. Wear right out of the box. Can be worn as slippers or even out and about. The square toe is modern and makes the shoe look a little more chic that traditional Birkenstock’s. Be forewarned, if you wear without socks and your feet sweat a little your feet will get black from the dyed fur. Doesn’t bother me, but just be careful with light colored socks too.

With the furry lining, I had to go up in size from what I usually wear in Birkenstocks. They don’t feel as supportive as typical Birkenstocks, either. I like how these look and they are very comfy, like slippers. Unfortunately, the black furry lining isn’t colorfast, meaning it turns my feet black. Note that in my second photo, my feet aren’t dirty - they’re black from the lining. It takes forever to scrub off the dye on my feet after wearing these shoes. Never had this happen with any Birkenstocks, and it’s disappointing. Still, overall they are good.

Do not be afraid of the narrow. I have a wide foot generally and ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly! So happy with these and can’t wAit to get a pair in another color too. Love this icy clue color. Dusty teal name doesn’t do it justice!

These Birks are heaven sent. Finding a mule style shoe I can wear to work and not have my feet freeze is amazing. I wore these straight out of the box for over 8 hours and they were comfy. I wear a 38 in Birks and found these true to size. I have a high arch and didn't have a problem with the mule being too tight. My feet are what I would call skinny and "boney" if that helps. With the Boston's I have to wear a sock and really cinch up the buckle for a snug fit, this style has a more fitted feel to it and the toe is more squared looking. I got the soft lavender color and it's beautiful.

I have been searching in vain for house shoes/slippers with arch support for the working from home winter I'm about to have. At last found these which fit the bill and are much less ugly than most comfortable shoes! They're actually almost cute in the lavender suede with shearling on the inside, which also feels very comfy of course. Super pricey, but since they're probably the shoes I will be wearing nonstop for the next three months while my cute booties sit in my closet, decided they were worth it.

Love, love this shoe! Wear it everyday now. I took a chance and ordered it as someone said it was running narrow. I need narrow, so why not? I am so pleased with this shoe, it is a beautiful color, lavender! So soft, put it on right away, and have worn it constantly.....almost want to sleep in them. I also love the taper, since that is the shape of my foot. I cant say enough good about this shoe! Now, I want it in black too. The fit, color, style, and all are just right, like it was made for my feet! I ordered my normal size, 9, and it is perfect. The cost is irrelevant, since I am so happy with it!

This shoe fits true to size, unlike the Boston where I go a size down. The shearling could make a difference to some bit I found it fit perfectly with or without a light sock. I always try and read reviews and often order 2 sizes to make sure and send one back. Zappos makes returns so easy and it saves me time. I really love all my Birkies!!!!!

These shoes are the best!!! I love Birkenstock shoes because they are so comfortable, especially when you have a job where you are on your feet a lot. They are well worth the investment!! I had been looking at these ones for a while and finally decided to treat myself. They were well worth the money. They are so comfortable, the shearling inside feels so warm and like a cloud! They keep my feet nice and warm in the cold we are now facing in Michigan. They are also super cute. I am so happy I finally got these. I would recommend them to everyone!!!

I wear a 42N in Birkenstocks and this particular closed-toe style runs short. My toes touched the end of the shoe, so I had to return them. The style isn't as cute as in the photos - there's something wonky about the shape of the closed toe.

I know Birkenstock labels these as narrow/regular which seems to be only for women's shoes, not unisex shoes. But I thought I would try them because they are cute (for a Birkenstock). I ordered two pair in size 38 and 39. Usually I take size 38 in Birks. But when I tried them on, and wore them around just a bit, I was worried they would feel too narrow as I continued wearing them. The size 39 was too big and not that much roomier in the toe. Sorry, but decided to return them and opted for different pair of Birks. Too bad...cute enough style and liked the grey color.

The footbed was a dream when I put it on, but when I walked around, the elastic that is sewn to either side of the suede under the top of the shoe had a thick, rough seam that irritated the top of my foot. Very disappointing because I love the style of the shoe.

Love these! I have narrow feet, I mean narrow. And I have trouble finding slippers that fit nicely. Last year I tried soooo many and sent back sooo many different slippers from Zappos and Amazon only to settle for something horrible that barely fit. These fit perfectly!!!! And they are warm and cozy. These definitely run narrow. Great for us narrow footed gals always pining for a good fitting pair of shoes, not so great for everyone else. Sorry world. We need a win, too, you know.

These are the BOMB! Much softer than a traditional Birk footbed, and so warm and cozy. I was worried they would "shed" but after a few fuzzies during break in, no problem. I did order up one number from my normal and they fit perfect. I bought them for casual running around but ended up wearing them as my slippers so I bought another pair for good shoes. I do like Birkenstocks and have had multiple pairs over many years, but these are the most comfortable I've had.

Love! I own several pairs of Birkenstock sandals and I own the shearling lined Boston clogs so I wasn’t surprised that I fell immediately in love with these. They are comfortable right out of the box. No break in required. The square toe gives it a more modern streamlined look. Be careful with light colored socks, or bare feet though. The black dye will transfer. I wear without socks and my feet turned black from sweating a little. They are very warm. It didn’t bother me, but thought it might be worth mentioning.

The fit is perfect! I went with the recommended size, instead of smaller like the open toe. The shearling is not heavy and my feet don’t sweat. I’m using them mostly as slippers but would use outside without hesitation because they are so cute!!

I wasn’t sure how the fit would be and was a little nervous about the narrow sizing. However, there are great! When I first put them on, they were snug but after about an hour they fit great. I did size up from my normal size. I probably won’t be able to wear regular socks with them, which I probably wouldn’t have anyways. They fit snugly but I don’t feel like they are going to stretch out and get sloppy.
