I typically wear a 38 in Birkenstocks (and I've had many pairs). So I ordered a 38 and 39 just to make sure. But I'm returning both and ordering a size 40. When I placed the (just arrived) Buckley size 39 side by side and back to back up my well worn Florida size 38, they appeared the same size in length and width. Maybe the closed toe style shortens the shoe? I hope size 40 works for my narrow, size 8 feet. I feared they'd make my feet look huge, but not so much. I think these shoes will be great for traveling during the winter.

I needed a size bigger, need to come In regular width not narrow, and was too tight on the top of my foot, and I didn’t even have the buckle tight on them.

So wanted these to work. The green is a great color and the shearling is very soft, but they weren't flattering. I would have considering overlooking that, but my foot slipped forward when I walked and my toes hit the edge which was very uncomfortable. For the price, I couldn't justify using them as "house shoes" so they're going back.

I wear a 40 regular. These only come in narrow. I took a chance. I’m returning them. They just aren’t comfortable and don’t feel like they offer support.

I was so excited about these shoes. I debated with myself for a day or two because of the price. Finally ordered them but was disappointed when I got them. The pink was much grayer than in the picture. My foot was right at the end of the heel and didn’t feel quite big enough. I ordered a size 40, which is my usual. Overall I did not love them, which I must if I’m paying $170. Returned the next day.

I really liked these shoes, but it turns out they look like slippers. In fact, my husband and niece both insist they ARE slippers. So ...just too expensive for a pair of slippers. Never mind!

Loved the shoe. After having them on , the black shearling turned my feet black. It’s taken 3 days to wash off all the black dye. Quite unacceptable to have shoes that rub off on your skin.

Fabulously comfortable shoe - but unfortunately I didn't notice the cork portion had an imperfection. I think another review cited this issue too.

Yipes. Not what I’d imagined style wise. Definitely looks like a slipper not an outdoor shoe to me. Also, because other reviews warned about the narrowness of this style, I thought sizing up would work. Nope: Same squeeze, and a big gap between my heel and shoe heel.

Love the style and fit, but they turn my feet black. Can’t wear them without socks. Very disappointing. At $170.00 I did not expect that!

These were not narrow in womens 38/39 Narrow except in the toes (and longer than expected too) or maybe were stretched out from trying. Soles not sturdy or very cushioned. Really surprised by poor quality and fit. FYI i am not a birkenstock shoes person.

These Birkenstock’s are as hard a a rock! I walked around all summer in Birk soft footbed sandals and loved them. Very helpful for my Morton’s neuroma. I thought that with the shearling lining these would be great for slippers. Nope. The lining is thin and does not add at all to the comfort of the shoe.

Love these shoes! I don’t like this color as well as the tan version (which my puppy chewed up), but they’re so comfortable, warm, supportive, and easy to slip on with jeans. I normally wear a 42 regular in birks—but somehow these only come in narrow, but they fit just fine. I will be purchasing a new pair every time they wear out.

I love these shoes!! I was concerned about the Narrow width, but it's not an issue whatsoever. I ordered my normal size and can even wear cozy socks with them. They are very comfy and I love the way that they look.

I got my normal size 8.5 and was afraid the shearling would make them tight, but they conform to my foot for perfect fit. I have narrow feet. This shoe felt so cozy and comfy. I love the cork sole, my favorite winter go to! I don’t want to take them off! I will get more for spring!

I have 4 pairs of Birkenstock Buckley shoes. Two are the shearling style with fuzzy lining. They are my favorites! I like the soft and fuzzy interior of the shoe. I usually wear them with stockings but have also worn them with socks or even go barefoot, even if it's a summer day. I prefer the Buckley style because it is more of a shoe and gives me more stability on my feet, something a person in their 70's often needs.

Good looking slippers that can be worn out but very stiff with a cork heel. I decided they are too expensive for a slipper where the inside has a shearling lining that will soil and even smell after worn. I have narrow feet and was very excited to find narrow slippers but I am returning these.

I love these mules! The shearling is so cozy and warm, and my feet feel supported. The only (slight) negative is that when I first got them the black color of the shearling rubbed off a bit onto my feet. But as I wear them, this is diminishing.

I’m not typically a narrow but I preferred these in narrow because they stayed on my feet easier.
