These shoes are beautiful and seem to be very comfortable but my skinny, shallow feet keep slipping out of them so unfortunately, I must return.

This is actually a cute shoe in the metallic and would be very comfortable if my narrow foot did not literally slide all the way through it. I think they would be too wide even in a medium width foot, literally, I can put 4 fingers in the strap along with my foot and still have extra space. Perhaps Fred Flintstone could wear these :)

I really wanted to love these sandals. The right sandal was perfect- but the left sandal was too big - by a lot. My toes would go over and that's uncomfortable. But the right sandal is so comfortable. The color is nice too. Unfortunately, I have to return them. In terms of style, I wish they were a little lower in heal height, but I would have kept (and enjoyed!) them if both sandals were the same size.

The shoes were sold as being a “narrow” width. They definitely were not. The width was medium or wider. I had to go to the trouble of a return. There was nothing on the box that said “narrow” as I had requested.

Love the style. Worn less than 5-6x and the shoes totally stretched out. Can hardly walk in this beautiful shoe. Birkenstock needs to fix this issue. The wedge is a wonderful adaption to this family of shoes but the material is horrible. Thankful I didn’t have these in vacation with no other options. Would buy again if Birkenstock can fix this issue. My foot is a size 8 regular width. 5-5 ht 130 lbs

Wanted to love these, however, very wide. In fact, too wide to fit and I think the width made them not look as cute when wearing. The gold color was just ok looked like it had a green hue. Sending them back.

I ordered the black. However the color was not really black. It had a greenish gold color. I was very disappointed because I really liked the comfort. But it definitely did not look like a black so I returned it.

These shoes were very odd. I ordered a pair in black and the champagne color. The fit was entirely different between the two. The black were very wide and the champagne were perfect but the color looked dirty, so sadly they both went back. Both were supposed to be “narrow” width which is a misnomer. They are not narrow at all!

I have narrow feet. This sandal said to be narrow but it felt wide to me. Also I was recommended a European 39 for a US 8 and it was big. I am returning this and trying the 38.

What a shame! These are really really nice shoes, but the sizing is off. I'm a size 39/40, and even the 39 which are too short for my foot are much too loose in the upper. They are made for TALL feet, or ones with some bulk to be able to hold on to the leather part. The bottom is amazing, but the top makes it impossible to wear. Have to return this lovely shoe. :(

These are amazingly comfortable. I never wear heels but I do wear Birkenstocks pretty much all year round (boots all winter, Mayari sandals all summer). Despite the heel angle these are just as comfortable. They are also cute!

I hadn't heard of Papillio by Birkenstock before. I'd been looking for more stylish Birks. These feel like birks on the sole and look great. They fit like my other ones.

Super cute, and very comfortable! I always have to size down in Birkenstocks and this was no exception. I normally wear a 7 1/2, and had to order a size 6. Fits like a glove.

These are so perfect I may order them in every color. I got the black suede and now I'm going back for the tan suede. I'm not able to wear heels anymore, or even wedges... but I can wear these with great comfort. Finally I can have a heel with my summer dresses. For me, the width is perfect (I run medium plus width), and I typically wear a 7.5 (sometimes an 8 if a shoe runs really small) so I got the 38 and it's perfect, the length is spot on. These feel like they were made for me.

Wider than a normal narrow

A Birk for work! This is a great shoe if you need something a little dressier but can't wear heels... and still want Birkenstock comfort. Very flattering on my large flat foot - they make them look small! - and they feel less high than the look. Don't be afraid of trying the "narrow", which is actually more of a medium. Padding and a slight rocker sole mean each step gets a little massage. Ordering a 2nd pair in another color.

I have problem feet with no arches, bunions, and plantar fasciitis. i’ve also been suffering PTTD which has kept me mainly in sneakers with orthotics. occasionally i need to dress up and it’s very hard to find shoes that provide the support i need and look decent. these fit the bill for me and i’m excited to wear them for brief intervals when needed. i was concerned about the fit because i have a wide front-foot due to bunions and this was stretchy enough to work. regular birks wearers should not be concerned about the “narrow” description, but if your feet are in fact narrow take note these will be wide. work great for me!

These sandals felt amazing the moment I first put them on. I have a bunion making one foot wide and the other medium. These fit both of my feet perfectly. The arch support is the best. And heel height is stylish and comfortable.

I ordered about 30 pairs of shoes from Zappos (in three different orders). I was looking for neutral or metallic cork-foot bed slide, preferably with a little heel. These were the winners. Incredibly comfortable (more comfortable than regular Birkenstocks), no break-in needed. Simple, stylish. Quality leather. I wear a size 8 and the 38 fit me well. I got the Rose Gold color and it's very neutral, more like beige. The metallic sheen is VERY subtle, so if you really want something metallic, these might not please you.

These were 1/2 size smaller than I usually order in length, I just really like this color, a lot. The 8-1/2, fit perfect, of another color, but the height is too high for me. Measuring at 3" I thought they were not as high. I ordered other colors. For width as they call their "narrow" it fit great for my B+ wide feet. Now at 64. The strap edges "cut" into my toes.

These wedges are amazingly comfortable and have great arch support. Very stylish also, neutral and can be worn with so much.

I have worn Birkenstock’s for 25 and have always worn a 37. These I guess because of the heel I had to go up to a 38 to keep my toes from hanging off the front. The 38 fits great and these are going to go with everything.

This is my first pair of Birkenstock’s. So, a few things to make note of: 1. It is only offered in Narrow width. However, I usually wear Regular but Birkenstock runs wide so the Narrow fit. 2. I usually wear 7.5 but printed out the fit guide on the Birkenstock website which indicated the 8-8.5 size. Way too big! Returned and ordered the 7-7.5 size which was perfect.
