I wear Birkenstocks all the time, and I'm a 9 1/2 or a Birkenstock 40 regular. I like 'em LOOSE with a 1/4" space all around the toes and a fingerwidth gap under the straps. Compared to the way I normally wear my Birks, these 40 narrows fit snug, like regular shoes. BUT, they fit correctly. These need to fit like a glove or I'd walk out of them or twist my ankle. I don't like heels, but sometimes I need a heel. These are perfect. Because of the platform, they look higher than they really are. The footbed fits my toes and arch perfectly. The top is soft, and the leather around the peep toe is angled or sanded on the inside, so it does NOT cut into my toes. I bought the stone color which is actually olive drab with a light sprinkle of gold dust. It's a perfect neutral and it goes with almost everything in my closet. Even though the cork footbed fits me perfectly, I feel like it will continue to mold to my foot. The only tricky part is there is no adjustment to the upper, so this shoe will either fit you perfectly or not at all.

Not a “Narrow” width. I’m not sure why this shoe is being labeled as a narrow width. My foot is on the narrow side, not super narrow, and these wedges are way too wide. I’ve got other Burks that fit perfectly. I loved the style and comfortable footbed of these wedges. The size 41 was perfect length for my size 10 foot. Unfortunately they are too wide to stay on my foot. Returning. :(

Love these! They run small. I’m a 61/2-7 and the 37 was too short so ordered the 38. Hopefully they will fit. The arch support is amazing and I didn’t want to take them off!

I love Birkenstock Namica by Papillio for a kicked up casual sandal. It does take a few wears to soften the leather around the toe area. It's worth it! As with other Birkenstocks, the footbed quickly becomes even better fitted to my foot with a few days wear. I have them in Rose Gold and Black. These seem to be my go to this summer. I can wear them comfortably for an entire work day. I am generally a 6 1/2 - 7 and size 36 works for me in this style. 37 is too large. As always, thanks Zappos for fabulous service!

If you're like me, you've probably been trying to find this shoe in a Medium width. I couldn't find that width anywhere. So I decided to try the narrow width to see how it fit. And it fits perfect! If you have a narrow foot, this shoe may be too wide for you. But with my medium width feet, this fit perfect. Not too tight at all. It feels just like a Birkenstock should feel on your feet. I can't wait for the weather to warm up again so I can wear them!

I own several Birks but each style fits me different. Love everything about these wedges accept for the toe bump support. I have short toes and the toe bum feels stiff, more raised than normal and placed too far forward. Almost feels like it's made of plastic and would not mold to my toes with wear. The strap is super soft and the arch support is excellent. I tired to size up but the toe bumps still hit me in the wrong place and the rest of the shoe was too roomy. I've had issues with toe bums with other Papillo style so it may be just me. Otherwise love the look of these so much. Lucky you if they fit your foot properly.

I was worried they would be too loose so I found a birkenstock sizing tool on their website and measured my feet prior to ordering. These shoes are very comfortable and fit perfectly. I'm very pleased w my purchase. (I normally wear a 7.5 so I ordered a 38 narrow.)

I'm very disappointed. They are cute shoes. But, if you have narrow feet, it's not worth buying them. They are definitely not anywhere near narrow. I could have fit another half a foot in the shoe. I'm about 11.5 narrow. My feet hung over the ends. I would buy a half size -1 size longer. Don't buy if you truly have narrow feet. Too bad for me. Thanks Zappos for making returns so easy. Just an update. I liked the stone color so much that I ordered the rose gold, too. I did not like the rose gold color. It's actually putty with a sprinkle of pink glitter dust. Whereas the stone is olive drab with a sprinkle of yellow gold dust. I'm not into "flesh" colored shoes, so the rose gold didn't do anything for me. Other people may find it the perfect "non" color.

There was nothing Narrow about these shoes. The length was true to size. I needed to return them. They would have never stayed on my feet.

I've worn the Birkenstock Arizona for years, and I always wear a 38, but a 38 in this shoe was too short. My toes were slightly hanging over the edge. A 39 was better, and I'll keep those, but I wish there were a half size in between. Also, I'm amazed at how different multiple shoes of the exact same size are different here on Zappos. It always makes me wonder if they're selling "slightly off" products. I ordered two pairs of the 39 to see if one felt better than the other (I was hoping one was a bit more snug). They were so different it was unbelievable. One is very comfortable with cushion, and the other was awful, hard, and the arch wasn't even in the same place. So, if you get a pair that seem bad, order another pair of the exact same size to see if you just got a bad apple the first time.

I received these with someone’s foot prints already in the sole of the shoes!

After only a couple of months these shoes have stretched out near the toes and have become way too loose. Going to have to stop wearing them as the right shoe falls off when I walk.

These shoes are offered in "narrow" only, but don't let that mislead you. After reading reviews I decided to order them. I am a lifelong Birkenstock fan and the normal Birks sandals are wider than most regular shoes. This style while it comes in "narrow" only, fits my foot perfect and holds my foot from sliding to then end for toe overhang. I haven't had the opportunity to wear them for a long period of time yet but so far they are very comfortable and give me an option for something dressier but still supportive.

Very cute but stretched so much after a just a couple times being worn my foot slips all the way through the shoe now. Returning

I have wide feet and these are perfect. I love them so much. No break in time at all. If you’re looking for narrow, I don’t think these will fit. So comfortable it’s ridiculous. Even more comfy than the regular Birks honestly.

Love the rose gold color! It will be my go to all summer. The fit is true and snug against my arch. My foot does not slip down. The shoes are quite, they don’t make the flip flop sound. Very pleased

These aren't a true narrow, I figured it was a flaw with this shoe specifically so I went to the Birkenstock site. They categorize this shoe as Med/Narrow which isn't a true narrow. I love the shoe but it won't work.

These Birks are the new style that brings beauty, and simplicity to your shoe closet! I sprayed them with BIRKENSTOCK SPRAY, AND STAIN before wearing them. I'm an elderly lady, and have been wearing Berks for over 35 years! I'm a shoe size M and can fit into a M. GEMI at 7.5 - Antonio Melani at 7.5 - Sofft at a 7.5, and Gianni bini at size 7 only! So, it depends on the shoe manufacture - if your a Wide, and more of a M to Narrow - between size 7, and 7.5 you know what I mean, its trial and error. But these particular Berkenstock Mamica by Papiillio wedges are fantastic, comfortable and feel like they embrace you feet. Don't let the new name fool you, they are the same Berks that have been around for may years. If your between sizes, and always feel comfortable in a size 37 Birkenstock, then that's what you should order period. Don't by the size 7 Berkenstock in other stores, because you will end up with a size 38, which is what happened to me, and I was swimming in them, and now have to return them! They are worth every dime, I don't take the time to write reviews very often, buy I hope this helps somebody on the fence which size to purchase if your not sure, again stick with the size you feel most comfortable with in a Birkenstock!

Wonderful shoe! Especially like the color. It’s not really gold at all. More a gray that sometimes looks green, with a little metallic sheen. Goes with almost anything!

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I have a high arch and these molded well to my foot. The color in the picture looks more pewter. The color name is metallic gold. The shoe does have more of a hint of a gold sheen that I did see in the picture. I still love the color.

The listing says narrow but I have a medium width and they fit perfectly. I have the washed metallic stone gold and I love the colour! I did have to buy a second pair because the first pair I received I believe the leather on right shoe was a bit stretched out. Second pair fits great and I’m going to keep them! Super cute shoes, but if you truly have a wide foot, the toe surface may be too narrow for your foot. I had plenty of room in the arch and across the top of my foot, but the ends of my toes didn't line up well with the insole of the sandal.

Loved the shoe and was delighted to see that Birkenstock had "narrow" widths. Narrow, however, is not narrow enough, even for the sandal that allows for different choices of buckle holes. I wish they would have fit but, if you have narrow feet, I am afraid that Birkenstock is not for you.
