The wide width loses the arch support, which feels out of place; too far forward in my case. Also you sent me the wrong color. Why the DRAB GREY & BLACK the only color available in wide? I picked the blue, you sent me the (oversurplus?) DRAB GREY & BLACK,

I love this shoe so decided to order in what appears to be blue but when it arrived it was the same exact shoe that I already have. Actual color is grey and not blue. Very disappointed

Excellent quality and workmanship. On the heavy side due to tough construction. Good traction in the wet and sandy areas.

For the price I'd expect shoes to last at least a year. This is the second pair of Merrell's that have let me down. The MQM flex model all the tread wore off the bottom in 6 months! Time to try a new brand.

My feet sweat like crazy in these things. They're very hot and clearly not made with "Breathable mesh lining". Might be better in the winter, but definitely not a summer shoe if you have hot feet.

The shoe itself is good enough but not great. Wish it came with bungie laces like the Chameleon. Wide width is nice.

We bought these shoes for my husband. He bought a pair to wear for work. He loved the first pair that he decided to get a second pair for camping and hiking. The 2nd pair of shoes started coming apart on both sides after hiking once, we returned them. We bought a 3rd pair thinking maybe it was just a faulty pair but the 3rd pair did it after going camping (no hiking, just walking around campsite). I just returned them and bought a different style of Merrell's to see if my husband likes the other style. If he doesn't, we will be finding a different brand for hiking shoes. At a price point this high, quality should not be questionable. I would tell Merrell that they need to do some quality control on their products. Hopefully this helps you choose wisely!

I wear a 10 wide in everything. This is a full inch longer than any size ten ever. Just expect that and order a half or full size down. Unfortunately I didn't' make it to exchange sizes in the 30 day time frame. Selling the "10" and buyin' a 9 Wide. This shoe is worth it: sturdy on the trail, solid footing even with a Protech Pro insole. Took a bit to get used to the flat-weight underfoot but it's all good, this shoe is a decent approach shoe.

I've had a couple Merrells and due to having wide feet they always seem to think wide means tall also! With these shoes I ran into a different issue... instead of 10s I need 9.5s. They seem well built and not clunky like some of their other products.

For me these just did not feel right. I have two other Moab styles that were very comfortable right out of the box, these were not. They are breathable, and solid. But just not the out of box wearability I expected.

The normal Merrell is too narrow. When I received these they end up being SOOOO WIDE that they are sloppy fitting. This is a HUGE jump, so be careful what you ask for ...

The shoe was too narrow and didn't fit like my other Merrell shoes. I am returning the shoe and ordering the shoe on wide instead of medium. Hopefully the next pair will be as comfortable as my other Merrell shoes

Needed some new hiking shoes and these seemed to fit the bill for me. I have owned a number of Merrell boots and shoes in the past, in fact have a pair of mid hiking boots on the way to me right now.
These fit well but after just 3 days of trail hiking in somewhat wetter weather in the Smokies the graphics are all wrinkled and peeling. I know, it is not how it looks but how it performs however it makes me wonder about overall quality control and material selection. They look to be something that is applied to the shoe with heat, sort of like a heat transfer sticker and they just did not stay one. Perhaps I got a lemon pair...
Anyway I will continue to wear them but if you expect your shoes to look in decent shape for a while after you buy them maybe these will not be for you.

Not very comfortable. Not very breathable. I went for a long walk and now it feels like the bottom of my feet are bruised. Two days later I can't walk without it hurting...

Bought these in October 2020 and within a year the sides developed a one inch opening, which lets in snow, rain, and even wind

I have been a Merrill fan for many years. For first time I can say I am not happy. These shoes are not as comfortable or daft as their Mocs.

Love this shoe. It was really comfortable and looks great. Only problem is after about a week the shoe sides started separating from the soles. This is not the quality I've come to expect from Merrell.
I will be taking them back and buying something else.

I purchased this shoe in anticipation of wearing it for warm weather hikes/etc this summer. I gave it a thoroiugh test run and am disappointed with the shoe's breathability. My feet were much warmer, sweatier and less comfortable than had been my experience with previous Merrells. Very unfortunate as Merrell stresses "now with a breathable, athletic mesh upper" in the advertisement.

I have owned many of Merrells different styles of shoes and been very satisfied. I purchased these because I needed new ones and loved the style but wanted waterproof hiking shoes. I asked the associate if they were waterproof and checked online before making my purchase to later find that they aren't. Your website says they are but my feet say they aren't. The first time I got caught in the rain my feet were soaking wet. I just wish I was informed correctly because I would have purchased a different shoe.
