It fits properly, provides the necessary support, cushions my feet on five mile walks each day (grass, pavement, stones), could be slightly more breathable but generally, it's fine, and looks good, too. I recommend it.

Bought these as a backup to my first pair I bought Last fall. I wear these at work mostly. I'm on my feet most of the day on concrete floors. These are comfortable, supportive and hold up well. Just ordered a new pair of Merrel kinetic fit insoles for my old shoes also.

Love merrel shoes in general. Comfortable, but not quite as comfortable as the moab2 waterproof, ventilator or goretex mid. Breathes better than any of those other shoes, however, and so is probably going to be a great shoe for general summer purpose because of that. Have only had it for a week so can't comment on longevity. I use custom orthotics which general tear up my shoes faster, I suspect this will happen to these shoes as well looking at the build.

This shoe looks like an athletic sports shoe but performs like a hiking shoe.

They feel so good that I now where them as an everyday choice over my Hokas. The size 9 W is a bit longer than I expected. Otherwise, this is the perfect casual/ hiking shoe.

I purchased my first pair of Merrell shoes, the Moab Edge 2 in Monument, just under two months ago. I'm a bigger guy so finding shoes that provide all-day comfort has been a challenge for me. I bought these shoes to begin doing day hikes to lose weight. Little did I know that they would become my go-to shoe for daily wear as well. The shoes are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I have owned in a very long time. They have provided great support on the trail, and have also provided the comfort I need when going to the mall with the family. I plan to purchase a second pair for only for hikes, and maybe another as a back up when my first pair wears out. To me the shoes hit the mark when it comes to price, looks, and comfort. As a matter of fact I am so happy with this brand that I intend to purchase a pair of their work boots as well.

Very comfortable great looking shoe! I live in the woods and these are great for running around with the dogs. The only downside is they are slippery as ice on some floors, the kitchen and bathroom floors at work are almost dangerous if there is any moisture around but outside they are perfect. I have 2 other pairs of Merrells and have had no issues with them, one pair being >6 years old and still going strong!

Lightweight yet supportive. Very pleasing design, almost gender neutral. Great shoe for intermediate hikers or those transitioning to more difficult trails. Traction could be better.

I walk in the mountains a considerable amount. I have not owned this particular style long but so far it is performing very well

Above average fit for folks with wide feet who like to hike in warm weather and (I feel) superior to the MOAB 2 across the boardunique option having tried several dozen wide hikers/trail runners over the past couple years! But there's room for improvement. A bit too deep in the toe box. Heel capture could be better (need to over tighten laces to lock in place). The tongue is the least comfortable part: too long and not wide enough (pressure point from exposed laces laces at upper eyelets). And one shoe suffers from the old squeaky heel. I will nonetheless definitely be buying more pairs as good wide hikers/trail runners are hard to come by these days. More colors and perhaps a lower drop would be the cherry on top!

These shoes are comfortable right out of the box and are lighter and cooler than the regular Moab. I will use them for casual wear but the original Moab will still be my go-to for hiking.

Exchanged for different size as they ran a little large. But they look great and seem very durable.

I have worn your products for more than 20 years and currently have 4 pair sized 9.5. My leather clogs and low hikers fit a bit tight and my moc slip-ons and these new Moab Flex fit a bit loose. I'm hoping after breaking in that they don't feel looser. I like the HD laces and ability to snug up for challenging terrain.
I've only had 2 problems over the years with the soles separating from body on lightweight hikers and leather "world shoe" slip-ons, but both instances were for shoes more than a year old.

I bought the 11 Wides. They are lightweight, breathe very well, and seem durable enough. There are very few Wide options available for hiking or trail use. So I will probably buy more.
They do tend to pronate a little, not so much support on the inside or medial edge of the shoes. If it gets worse, I might have to buy insoles or build up the inside of the shoe...
But no regrets. I'll be buying a second pair to keep in reserve.

First day that I wore these was an all day on my feet affair. I walked around a street fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. practically nonstop. I was happy with how they fit and how they felt. No problems noticed was traction but I was pretty much on flat ground all day. I look forward to trying these out hiking.

After several times wearing them around all day (not on any trails),they seem to be fairly comfortable and stable. The right heel pull tab angles down and out and excess glue on one of the toe areas. Time will tell how they hold up as I am hard on shoe wear.

I'm a letter carrier so I routinely walk 15 -20 kg /day, Monday to Friday in the city. I liked the fact that the soles were somewhat raised so me feet stayed dryer longer. I have had the gortex lined shoes in the past but find that they don't really keep your feet dry and that any protection they do offer doesn't last long. I've now worn a hole through the sole (1 year of wear) so it's time to replace them. I didn't think they had as much support or cushioning as my previous Merrills, but it's a trade off I'm prepared to make for the higher sole. I bought my first Merrils in 2008 and still sometimes slip them on to walk the dog. Current quality of Merrills only last me a year so that's disappointing, however, for now they're the best fit for my feet and that's why I continue to wear them. If I found another brand that fit as well and offered better quality I would switch.

Returned back to Merrel. I found them a bit bulky compared to my Columbia hiking shoes.

I loved these shoes until separation began to occur around the one year mark. The bottom of the shoe is separating on the front on the outside of the toes near pinky toe. It continues to get bigger. I figured if I spent a Hindi on a pair of shoes they should last at least 2 years.

This is my second pair of Merrell. Bought for a trip to national parks in WY and MT. Within 1 week of use, flat non-technical trail walking, the toe guard on the one shoe started to separate from the shoe. Not the quality I expect from this company. Hoping that is the least of my quality fails to happen.
