After 3 hours of use, the shoelace eyelet fell out. Now, this is not a big deal however I had just experience the sole separating on the MQM Edge after 30 hours of use. I am walking dirt trails in a suburban park, not mountain climbing & I am in my 60s. This has never happened to me before. This is also my first experience with Merrell, and my last.

I use this shoe as a daily shoe to wear to work and back ( I wear my dress shoes at work), around town and for light hiking.
The shoe fits well , is very comfortable especially since I replaced the standard laces with aftermarket bungee laces and is breathable.
However within 3 months of wearing this the printed TPU Upper started cracking and peeling off from the mesh. In about 6 months the shoe looked tattered despite the mesh and the sole being intact.
Stay away from these "3d Printed" plastic stck on designs. They provide neither long lasting looks nor comfort.
I've had other Merrell shoes and have been a big fan all through except for these shoes.

Absolutely did not fit. Comically smaller than same size merrells bought in the past. Don't waste your money.

I love Merrell shoes but the soles on these shoes are so hard on your feet. I started getting instant heel pain after wearing these shoes for 10 minutes or so. I'm having to buy new DrScholl insoles to help out.

Bought these and broke them in. Went on a 3 day hike through the cohutta in Georgia. 38 miles in 3 days with 1000' elevation swings. Day two my right sole blew out. The last 5 hours I went barefooted. Probably never buy this brand again

These shoes will not last. I wore them for 6 months and had a hole in the sole.

I bought these 4 months ago, and I regret it. They're already falling apart, uncomfortable to wear. Terrible quality, and falling apart just outside of the warranty window! I walk my dog ~4 miles per day, no rough terrain. Less than 500 miles of sidewalk, and they're toast. Do not recommend.

I bought these last year 2021 and this picture is WRONG and the sneakers you will get do NOT look like this. They said they would take it down but they haven't. This sneaker is great but the one you receive is like a cheap model.

They are too tight and they are a wide size and return policy is only one month. So upset I lost so much money on these.

Poorly constructed. I was breaking these shoes in wearing them 1-2 times per week while also wearing my Moab Ventilator. Should have stuck with the Ventilator model. I work in the retail industry and typically average 20k steps per shift. Once I started wearing these shoes explicitly, they quickly began to breakdown. The adhesive at the toe gave way and the upper started separating from the sole.

I've only been wearing these shoes for about a month, but they are falling apart. I don't even wear them for hiking just basic neighborhood walking. This is my 3rd pair of Merrill shoes, but will be my last. Inferior product.

I wanted something more breathable then the ventilator for the summer. ASICS and new balance I usually replace twice a summer Being a loyal customer I ordered the Edge. Didn't last two months. The sole feels like I got a flat tire.

Comfortable, good traction, good looks, rugged soles, but... Absolutely NOT waterproof. Not even water resistant. A 20 second walk through wet grass and you'll feel the water seeping through multiple areas in both shoes. A shallow stream crossing = wet socks for the rest of the day. Dang. I really wanted to like these, too.

Shoe causes pain, you will need to buy an insole, and worst of all it came with the soles not glued properly on the front right, and the shoe is falling apart at the heel after 3 days of use

I have had quite a few pairs of Merrells over the past few years, they have all lasted multiple years of use except for these. They started to separate from the sole almost immediately and broke apart terribly after a few more months of wear. Not the usual quality that I expect from Merrell.
Unfortunate since they were extremely comfortable.

My feet hurt every time I wear them. Very disappointed. I have a brand new pair of shoes that will now never be worn.

Extremely disappointed with the quality of the Moab Edge 2's. After a month of use on the trails, they caused a moderate amount of pain in my feet. The rubber sole material is significantly less sturdy and supportive than models with the vibram sole. I think rather than being categorized for hiking, these are much more suited for the golf course or trips to the grocery store.

I love Merrell and have several of their products. I bought these shoes for trail hiking this summer. I took three decent hikes of 7-9 miles. After the second hike, I noticed some cracking along the stretch where I bend at the toe. And on the third hike, the material on the edge started to peel off. By mile 6, the seam between the sole and the top of the shoe started to split. Ugh. Very frustrating.
Don't buy these for outdoor use. Happy to share pictures.

I had really wanted this shoe to work as I love
the Moab line of shoes and was very excited to see
a more "athletic" looking shoe. However it was not meant to be. I ordered the wide size and it was not wide enough. I returned the shoes as they hurt my feet way too much.
I will have to stay with the regular Moab shoe in the wide size. I wish Merrell made a Moab line of shoes in 4E width
